My youngest Tibetan Mastiff, Legend had snuck into the spare bedroom to steal the cat's food.. In response to being shouted at, he got on my bed and looked out of the window, no doubt reflecting on the folly of his actions!!

The light is very dull today but I liked how it captured that guilty glint in his eye.

He looks so sorry now!!

This is my last post for a few weeks. I need to get used to my new camera (Fuji X-T10)... when I return there should be some photos from a new location too. See you some time in April.

feel this spirit of Christmas climb up in your minds

hold on to it.

Wash it clean from all of our ideologies, relegions and false believes.

Try to calm and feel the spirits of all those who surround you.

Enemy and friend

See

We all are the same.

Missleaded, confused and lost in possibilities.

Our capacity of Love, care and empathy can rise above.

It only needs the will to change.

Think through. Feel and have trust in yourself.

We are animals.

But we have the gift of intelligence.

Lets use it for a better tomorrow.

Merry Christmas to all of you

Wow, I wonder what broke through this fence...

Coenfield Arts,... Declare your guilt, do not let a beautiful kitten, die at the hands of Romildo. Introduce yourself, and declare to Romildo that it was you.

A post-Thanksgiving dinner stroll along the beach

An interesting side note in the Tetons is the Cunningham Cabin. According to the website, ( www.nps.gov/grte/learn/historyculture/cunning.htm) "the Cunningham Cabin stands as one of the valley’s few remaining structures from the homesteading era when settlers filed nearly 400 claims in Jackson Hole. In the 1880s, John and Margaret Cunningham staked a claim for the Bar Flying U Ranch. Cunningham built his cabin in 1888 in the Appalachian style, commonly called “double-pen” or “dog-trot.” John lived in the cabin until 1895 when he finished his main residence, and it later became a smithy and barn.

Cunningham ran a profitable ranch until drought ruined his crops and cattle prices fell at the end of World War I. As an agricultural depression persisted through the 1920s, Cunningham and other ranchers recognized the valley’s potential as a “playground.” Cunningham teamed up with neighbor Josiah David “Si” Ferrin to write a petition signed by 97 valley ranchers. The petition proposed a buyout of ranches to create a national recreation area for public enjoyment. In 1928, Cunningham sold to the Snake River Land Company who later donated 35,000 acres for park expansion.

Two Montana wranglers approached Cunningham in the fall of 1892 to purchase hay. Cunningham allowed the strangers to winter on his ranch. Rumors spread that the men were horse thieves. Next spring, a man claiming to be a U.S. Marshal, with three deputies, rode into Jackson from Idaho. Joined by Jackson recruits, the marshal’s men surrounded the ranch at night. In the morning, the posse gunned down the alleged thieves. The men’s guilt, the allegations and the marshal’s identity were never confirmed."

The house that was referred to in the article is no longer there. I can't imagine how they survived in this structure if it was anything like it looks now!

I love getting these little views into people’s lives. It’s probably because I live such a sheltered existence.

All those windows though, all those different lives with their different set ups. I find it endlessly fascintating.

But I do feel bad for hiding in the dark and peering in.

I know, I know. Hong Kong, again! I’m not wealthy- I just keep spending all my money on going there. I don’t think they say ‘Fourth Times the Charm’ but this trip was just that - a success. For almost the entire time I kept my mental health issues at bay. It was a good trip. After three disasters - It is really nice to say that.

16 Things About PINK !!

1. Ok like you didn't know this one already but I am completely addicted to PINK... If something’s pink I will see it... The color calls to meeeee... Not sure when my PINK addiction started but it's pretty much out of control now...!!!!

2. I started flickr on Aug 29, 2006....It's all been downhill since then....can someone say....ADDICTION ISSUES !!

3. I have two beautiful children that I absolutely adore.. My son D.J. is 16 and my daughter Sissy is 13 (these are their nicknames I don't like to share their real names for privacy).

4. I am a HUGE...I mean HUGE germaphobic.. I will go to extremes to keep your cooties off my person.. Can't touch a door handle without a towel..!! Can't touch the buttons in an elevator or the rails on an escalator.....and Walmart has the most germs....the second I enter that store I get queasy and can't get out fast enough!! Just say'n !! bahahaha

5. Can't stand shopping....this annoys most all my friends.. my motto..."buy it online" less germs to deal with when you shop online !! bahahaha

6. Hate crowds.. Makes me very uneasy and I get all nervous and sweaty...

7. Hate small places....buses and planes are awful and I have to be drugged in order to ride in one..

8. I get nervous meeting new people.. I will almost always break a sweat unless liquored up !! bahahaha

9. I love music.. I listen to my ipod for hours on end and I'm pretty sure I've damaged my hearing because the louder the music the better !!

10. I loveeeeeee coffee....I'm breaking the starbucks habit for the second time this year because I got a coffee maker for Christmas.. lets see how long I make it this time !! baha

11. I love the ocean.. Bodega Bay California is my favorite place because of so many special memories I have with my family there. My fathers ashes were spread there when he passed away....as will mine be one day.

12. Before my father died he asked me to think of a word so that when I heard it I would know he was thinking and watching over me. I chose a number instead 222 (a combo found in my birthday) and I see that number all the time and in places you'd never imagine and alot times I see it when I need to know that he is there..

13. I love butterflies.. I believe they carry the souls of those who have passed on and in some of my weakest and darkest moments a butterfly has appeared to help me through..

14. I have one tattoo.. It's of a butterfly and it is located on the inside of my right ankle.

15. I don't normally like to read books but my daughter recently got me hooked on the Stephenie Meyer's Twilight Saga and I am soooo in love with Edward....Vampires rule Werewolves drool ! Just say'n ! hahahaha

16. And last but not least I am completely infatuated with bald men..!! Not all men can pull this feat off but when they do I am like butter in their hands !! I once asked a bald man if I could rub his head.... Did I just say that out loud ?

Ok I played your silly game now stop tagging me and go away already ! bahahahaha

P.S. I won't be tagging anyone cos that's how I roll..

I feel bad about this one. I was walking in Newport, KY a few days ago and I came across this person in distress. I did nothing to help, not even to call 911. I simply snapped my picture and went on my way.

This week’s Humble Offering of Humbility is brought to you by lampposts. And guilt. See, here’s a breakdown of how I spend a typical week. Monday: Decide on a theme for the following week’s pics. Tuesday: Select and edit. Wednesday: Select and edit. Thursday: Select and edit. Friday night: Decide on a whole new theme. Saturday: post. I’ve had the lamppost theme ready for like two months. Each time I’m ready to post, younger, golden-limbed themes strut by and wink at me. But not this week! It’s time for a lamppost post posthaste. Basically, because I’m tired of looking at them. Now you, YES YOU, can get tired of looking at them, too!

I’d make a horrible salesman.

Have a creative week, everyone!

New photos every Monday!

Finally I got the pinhole thing sharp, but I still like these blurred things better. I think I will let the pinhole camera rest for a while.
