There are numerous symbolisms associated with the raven in virtually every culture. I am intrigued by all of them, the good and the bad associations, but the one that resonates with me at this time in my life comes from the Nordic legend regarding the god, Odin.
According to legend, Odin had two raven companions whom he called Munnin and Hugi. These names translate to “Memory” and “Thought.” Munnin and Hugi served as Odin’s spies, bringing him information about what was happening on Earth.
My application on this legend is simply to hope that my own memories bring me wisdom from Munnin and thoughtfulness for others from Hugi. Be blessed and bless someone else this holiday season.

Not the sharpest shot, I found the fog was incredibly difficult to shoot through BUT it created such a beautiful ambience.

Be aware when you repeatedly think the same arguments over and over again

It's cool to know tho, now you can choose to listen if you want, either it's the ego or the intuition

Lighthouses give me these nice feelings inside
For me its a symbol of guidance and safetyness.
Like guardian angels watching over me, giving me guidance if and when I need it.
There is always someone looking after you, you are never alone. It can be quite comforting to know.
You are in charge of course, you have your free choices.
But they are there. Checking if everything is OK. Sometimes they must interfer, but mostly they try to whisper and give your intuition a little extra boost.
We need some boosts from time to time, things do get comfortable and it's easy to just let go.
But you would miss your growth if you want to be comfortable all the time.
And you won't even know the glory you could have had if you moved out of your comfort zone.
When you are filled with love for yourself, you will feel safe. You can stand strong in a storm, because you know that you are one, you are whole.
Love does that. It balance you.
You don't need to fight.
Just take it in.
It's the greatest there is.
That lighthouse is me standing strong, knowing that I'm loved and that I follow my intuition, and yes I do get help, so thankful for the angels out there, they do appear in different ways.
And of course my lighthouse is lit, who wants a dark lighthouse.

Reason, Season, or Lifetime
People come into your life for a reason, a season or a lifetime.
When you figure out which one it is,
you will know what to do for each person.
When someone is in your life for a REASON,
it is usually to meet a need you have expressed.
They have come to assist you through a difficulty;
to provide you with guidance and support;
to aid you physically, emotionally or spiritually.
They may seem like a godsend, and they are.
They are there for the reason you need them to be.
Then, without any wrongdoing on your part or at an inconvenient time,
this person will say or do something to bring the relationship to an end.
Sometimes they die. Sometimes they walk away.
Sometimes they act up and force you to take a stand.
What we must realize is that our need has been met, our desire fulfilled; their work is done.
The prayer you sent up has been answered and now it is time to move on.
Some people come into your life for a SEASON,
because your turn has come to share, grow or learn.
They bring you an experience of peace or make you laugh.
They may teach you something you have never done.
They usually give you an unbelievable amount of joy.
Believe it. It is real. But only for a season.
LIFETIME relationships teach you lifetime lessons;
things you must build upon in order to have a solid emotional foundation.
Your job is to accept the lesson, love the person,
and put what you have learned to use in all other relationships and areas of your life.

This was a complete experiment in LE. A simple street lamp flared and focus centred into the lens, to be honest I'm not sure about it, let me know what you think.
Personally I think I need to play around and do this again a few times, to see what comes out. Colours here were moderately enhanced for greater effect but I think sometimes the simplest things, in this case a humble street lamp, can sometimes create magic.

An adult heron keeps watch as her chick ventures out onto the uppermost branches of its nest site. Meanwhile,there was a constant clacking of beaks coming from the other hungry chicks in the heronry.
A gray fox stopped by my campsite in Boot Canyon, gave me the once-over, then looked skyward for divine guidance. The apparent response was to just move on along and let the hapless biped fend for himself. Big Bend National Park, Brewster County, Texas.
