Virgin Trains' Pendolino
Brad Pitt and AngeLina Jolie recently hired a private Pendolino train for a journey between London Euston and Glasgow Central which has made the chartering of a train for private use much more widely known.

The latest addition to the UK's charter train fleet.
The train can carry up to 374 in Standard (2nd) Cl. and 162 in First Cl and has a buffet car as well as baggage space in the service car (DVT).

Train Chartering operated The Pilsner Urquell Express to and from the British Open 2011 at Royal St. George's Golf Club for Essentially, the leading sports marketing agency.
The trains ran between London's Victoria Station and Deal Station, from where there was a short coach transfer to and from the course.
VIPs were served a full English cooked breakfast and a 3-course dinner on the train, which was chef-prepared in the train's kitchen and served by uniformed stewards.
The train was branded with Pilsner Urquell logos in the windows, Pilsner Urquell headrest covers, various items of Pilsner Urquell's point of sale materials and, naturally, bottles of the well-known light beer.
Each of the 6 journeys over three days was completed on time or early.

Le foto del viaggio in barca tra le Isole Ionie. Un vero viaggio, non una semplice crociera, perché oltre la vela e il mare abbiamo vissuto numerose esperienze sulla terraferma.
Abbiamo assaporato da vicino quegli aspetti e quelle curiosità che fanno parte del mondo ellenico e che solitamente si perdono durante una classica vacanza in barca a vela.
Abbiamo degustato vino, cucinato nella cucina di una taverna sul mare, prodotto i nostri formaggi, mangiato i piatti tipici, ma soprattutto abbiamo conosciuto i greci.
Un mix di mare e terra!

The picts of the boat trip between the Ionian Islands. A real journey, not just a cruise, because beyond sailing and the sea we have tried many experiences on land.
We have closely tasted those aspects and those curiosities that are part of the Hellenic world and that are usually lost during a classic sailing holiday.
We tasted wine, cooked in the kitchen of a tavern on the sea, produced our cheese, ate typical dishes, but above all we met the Greeks.
A mix of sea and land!

Group Travel (Bodmin)'s unusual Autosan A1012T 'Eagle' integral at 2017 Penzance running day. One of only 57 right hand drive examples built by Polish manufacturer Autosan usually for use as contract coaches. Maybe not the most aesthetically pleasing coach but a chance to experience a vehicle not normally used on stage carriage services. Beautifully presented by Craig George.

One of a large number of 'Party Outings' booklets issued by British Railways and that describes a series of tours, part-day, full day and overnight, that were designed to facilitate organisers of groups, excursions and educational visits. Often issued by the appripriate Region this is from the Chief Passenger Representative of the London Commercial Services of BR based in Charing Cross Road.
It gives details of a large number of excursions by train and associated coach journeys that could be organised for a guarenteed number of passengers, often 300 or 400, alongside details of events for smaller numbers that included cheaper fares for parties. These tours cover a wide range from 'local' London area destinations such as Epping Forest (via London Transport stations) to more far-flung places such as day trips to Harrogate and Wharfedale, Cardiff or North Wales to an overnight train trip to Glasgow for a day on the Clyde steamer services with another overnight train journey back. The cover artwork and layout design is by Studio Seven.
