As we prepare for our Fall Antique Engine & Tractor Show this weekend, a tour group of Boiler Inspectors came by our Museum. We ran a few of our stationary engines and steam traction engines to give them a proper demonstration of what we do here.
This is just a small vision of what its like during our Tractor Shows where we run everything that runs on our property. Unlike a lot of museums where items are stored behind glass, our exhibits are run and used almost every week. We plow fields, we weave rugs, we make steakturners out of iron, we teach how to drive tractors. Some things aren't mean to be stored and unused for a hundred years.
