This is Jimmy enjoying a coveted bed spot.
(That tiny patch of black fur showing above his shoulder blades is Puddy.)
Pic was taken on my dining room table.. my photo studio! ;-) The background is dried grasses from a plant in my yard. I manually added some texture, colors and other stuff to it in Photoshop, to make it look more Autumn looking.
Happy Autumn!! :-)
Unless you're on the opposite side of the world - like Miles in Australia. (Hi Miles!!) Then it's Happy Spring. :-)
Groovin' . . . on a Sunday afternoon
Really couldn't get away too soon
I can't imagine anything that's better
The world is ours whenever we're together
There ain't a place I'd like to be instead of . . .
Groovin' . . . down a crowded avenue
Doin' anything we like to do
There's always lots of things that we can see
We can be anyone we want to be
And all those happy people we could meet just . . .
Groovin' . . . on a Sunday afternoon
Really couldn't get away too soon...

Initially I did not notice the two faces, “Beauty and The Beast”, which I have now labeled.
Striped skunk "Sundew" was found out and about in his digs @ Northwest Trek Wildlife Park - Eatonville, WA.

It was a perfect Spring day, in the high 70s, low humidity, clear skies and gentle breezes. A perfect day to be in the park, especially the one at the marina.
Soon after this gentleman arrived, beautiful music (reminiscent of Kenny G... could've been him, in fact) filled the air. It was a lovely accompaniment to the wonderful day. (Well, for some of us...others didn't quite agree, but too bad!)
I didn't want it to end but like all good things...
Happy Bench Monday!

About 45,000 years ago the Wisconsinan Glacier advanced southwesterly from Canada reaching Kelleys Island, Ohio. Under enormous weight and pressure granite and other hard rocks, together with meltwater flowing under the more than mile thick glacier, carved and polished grooves into softer limestone bedrock.

Heading home, but needed one last shot. Not an easy intersection to do this, but I needed to try..right?

I hate to duplicate efforts (Brian Plant!), but to add to the coolness on the B&O Sunday afternoon post-Summerail outing we were treated to the southbound move of I&O's Delta Turn, seen here at a full gallop at the south end of Ottawa, OH. Not quite classic "I&O" power, but I'll take it.
A quartet of ISRR SD40-2’s scream down the CSX CE&D Sub at Carlisle with an empty Petersburg, heading to load at Oaktown.
For a change of pace, here we are at a summer concert: two members, of the Mudmen Celtic band, doing their thing..
