Ah yes, these little critters never let me down and always provide plenty of poses and expressions for my awaiting lens.
That pink tongue is working hard to clean those paws, one seen on the nose and the other just below the tongue :)
Rodents spend a lot of time grooming themselves and keeping their coats clean and shiny.
Posted for the Happy Caturday theme "At the beauty parlour".
Not the most flattering photo (sorry Charlie) but I needed a photo for the theme and Sethi and Tofu both haven't been super cooperative this week due to the heat. :)
Happy Caturday !
Two Crows were sitting on one of the Hydro Wires busily grooming each other. Surely they were a pair. I don't think that they would otherwise groom one another. Maybe it was a love.scene also!

Taken Sunday morning along the Grand River at the Grand Ravines North Park.
My daughter really likes the Harry Potter series, so we ordered the Hogwarts interior backdrop to set up the dinning area ... made for a great backdrop for some of the photos too.
Here is the groom and his mom and grandmother.
Used the subject selection in Lightroom and then inverted it to isolate the background to reduce clarity and focus to develop a bit more isolation.

A bee in a lockdown garden. Caught this bee having rest and wash after a busy session of collecting.
I am beyond fortunate to have these Cooper's showing up multiple times a day right behind my house. I have learned so much about their behavior and temperament. Yesterday I was able to watch this one for over two hours, and this was caught during their grooming ritual.
The groom. Unposed, grabbed shot. Looking like he has the lead part in Rob Roy instead of Liam Neeson. Rob Roy ...one of my favourite movies www.youtube.com/watch?v=jh2DKNNMn5s
This goes along with the Macro Monday theme of "My Daily Routine." This covers two parts of my daily routine, grooming and something to do with photography; whether it's capturing, developing or posting images, or admiring other peoples images on Flickr. This was the first morning using the Canon's new 100-400MM telephoto lens. I had read and been told it was much better than the first version, and boy is it ever! I shot this handheld at 1/40 and it's sharp (great image stabalization) and gives great color and a pleasing bokeh. At 1/40th of a second, the squirrel on the right is blurred as it is vigorously working away on the other. These two were hanging out together, so I'm not sure if they're siblings or paired up. Either way, they are darn cute. Keller, Texas, October 2016
