This harvest abstract is based on a photo that I captured of an autumn grapevine in Castle Combe, UK. It was a glorious sunny day which presented a challenge to my camera. I took my photo which was very contrasty with blown out highlights to Deep Dream Generator and Topaz Studio to render a distillation of what I saw in my mind's eye.

Grape hyacinth (Muscari armeniacum) is often the first bulb-type flower to show its blossoms in your garden in spring. The flowers look like clusters of little pearls, blue and white. They usually carry a mild fragrance.
Some grapes from our neighbor's vine, nearly ready to pick and eat. There's something interesting on the surface of the grape in the center -- not sure what that is.
Last year there was not a single one of these flowers as a little mouse enjoyed the buds and then a cat enjoyed the mouse. This year there are lots of flowers in this corner of the garden.
