Here’s a picture I was working on when my computer went into meltdown. I did it not particularly to show off anything new, but just to show you how much I love dance, and especially how much I love ballet! I’m off to London for the Royal Ballet later in the week for my next fix!!
wurde das Pantheon an der Piazza della Rotonda in Rom (Italien). ERbaut wurde es schon im frühen 2. Jahrhundert nach Chr. und ist auch heute noch vollkommen erhalten. Anfang des 7. Jahrhunderts wurde das Pantheon vom Christentum übernommen. Die Mauerstärke des Rundbaus hat ca 6 m, der Durchmesser der Breite und die Höhe jeweils 43,3 m.

Hab ich gestern im Archiv gefunden und dachte: das ist es wert, noch bearbeitet zu werden.
Im Moment bin ich dabei, den Architektur-Vortrag zu meiner Fotoausstellung fertig zu bekommen, daher ist hier ein bisschen weniger los auf meinem Stream.

The ship is 1,004 feet (306 m) long and 105 feet (32 m) at the beam. It has a carrying capacity of 2,105,527 cubic feet (59,621.9 m3), has a 280-foot (85 m) unloading boom and is capable of unloading 11,200 NT/hr.[4] This is a maximum load of about 74,100 tons.[3] The ship has five cargo holds,[4] but 20 hatches which are 28 by 11 feet (8.5 by 3.4 m). The hatches are significantly smaller than other large lake freighters.[3]
Wer im Murgtal fotografiert wird früher oder später auch mal in den weitläufigen Wiesen rund um Heselbach landen. Das beweisen auch die zahlreichen Fotos im Netz, allerdings waren hier meist Bilder vom Murgtäler zu sehen (Gott hab ihn seelig).
Gut ansonsten ist im Murgtal auch nicht viel geboten außer Straßenbahnen, 1440 und alle Schaltjahre mal eine Dampflok.
Am 28. April 2022 sollte es jedoch eine Premiere geben, meines Wissens die erste 103 sollte aus eigener Kraft das Murgtal bezwingen. Die Railavendture eigene 103 222 bespannte den Sonderzug DPE 9470 (Gaiblingen - Baiersbronn) hier unweit von Heselbach.
Am nächsten Tag ging es dann über die Steilstrecke weiter gen Heimat.

Die Wallfahrtskirche Maria Hilf in Freystadt bei Neumarkt in der Oberpfalz ist ein bedeutender Zentralbau des deutschen Hochbarocks. Die Kirche befindet sich zusammen mit dem Kloster Freystadt auf einer weiten flachen Wiese nördlich vor den Toren des kleinen Städtchens.

In 1740, the new king of Brandenburg-Prussia, Frederick II, would invade the small and wealthy province of Silesia. Brandenburg-Prussia at the time was a kingdom of shreds and patches as the Prussians ruled areas that were not connected. Frederick however sought to connect them all and make Prussia a great power. Silesia would be the first choice given its importance and because the current rulers, the Austrians had a new monarch, Maria Theresa. It was the perfect time to strike and on December 16th, 1740, he would invade Silesia and fight a 2 year long war against the Austrians known as the First Silesian War. He would be victorious and brought the Austrians to the table for peace negotiations.
He would get all of Silesia and in turn, Maria Theresas husband, Francis I would be the newly elected Holy Roman Emperor. Maria Theresa herself couldn't be elected empress as the title was only for men, but everyone knew who was in control when her husband became emperor. Their rivalry however would continue for years to come as both competed for dominance over the divided German people. They would fight another war over Silesia and would fight in the Seven Years war. Frederick would suffer major defeats but would get extremely lucky. His goal of expanding Prussia was successful and would earn the title "The Great". The rivalry between Prussia and Austria would continue for the next 130 years until 1871 when Prussia united most of Germany. It all started because of one mans ambition on a cold winters day in some small province in Central Europe.
I've always wanted to do a build about Frederick the Great as he is an interesting historical figure who managed to come out on top despite suffering the near destruction. If you'd like to learn more check out the video below. No excuse not to since you're probably at home like the rest of us.
