I had been shut out for 5 nights in a row on this trip and was willing to shoot anything at this point. As I was running around to the different viewpoints on the North Rim of the Grand Canyon looking for some open sky, I rounded the corner along the drive and hit the brakes for a quickie. :) I set up one light panel quickly and snapped 3 shots then jumped back in and off I went. I used a cooler white balance than usual on this one at around 3200. :)

Scan with Plustek 8100@3,600dpi, then edit contrast with Nick Silver Efex Pro2 & ACDSee Photo Editor 11.
Notes: Using Rollei Retro 80s for the first time, negative came out dense, next time will try ISO 64 and 9 minutes on Xtol @ 1:1.

Caso Cerrado

Thanks to "Caso Cerrado" I have learned Spanish language.
I also found it very interesting with diverse subjects that offers a new perspective on life meaning. I have been watching Caso Cerrado since 2004. Now, I have to enjoy only the daytime episodes at 2:00 pm because the 7:00 pm show is not anymore televised. I hope it will return soon.
I miss it very much.

For many days, I googled to find this place, but was not able to. I felt so disappointed to not be able to find. So, this past Saturday, I decided to take a road trip to seek some different locations; while I was driving, I'd say five miles or more away, I noticed there was a building that I thought I'd better to check it out. As I got closer, and closer, my heart started to beat faster, and screamed "Yes! I found it!" I parked my truck, stared at this place for some moments; a lot of reflect. It was a beautiful sight. I sure glad it's still standing, because I originally thought someone already torn this place down.
It was a great day for me.

طبعا هذا من المتصفح الخايس اكسبلورر
انصحكم جميعا باستخدام قوقل كروم
متصفح خفيف وسريع بشكل مو طبيعي
قارنته بنفسي بين جهازي وجهاز اخوي
جهازه اسرع من جهازي بكثير
هو فتح اكسبلورر وانا فتحت كروم
وحطينا على نفس الموقع
ومع بعض ضغطنا الانتر
والله بدون ما اكذب عليكم انا فتح معاي وكل شي وهو لسى صفحه بيضا ينتظر
وتقدرون تجربون بعد ما تنزلون قول كروم
وبرضو لان كثير اشتكو لي ان الصورتبعي ما تفتح عندهم
اقول لهم حملو قوقل كروم وراح تفتح زي اللوز <<< على قول وااحد من الشباب هههههههه

بعدين اختار نوع المتصفح الي انت كنت تستخدمه من اول
وحط على المربعات كلها صح عشان ينقل كل شي عليه
واضغط استيراد
وراح تظهر لك تحت المفك رسمة ملف اسمه الاشارات الاخرى

It's Somerset House again, this time the Nelson Stair which is in the west end on the southern building.
I've started to put together a map of spiral staircases in London. If you look at this Google Map you can see the one's I'm aware of. If you've got any that you know of that aren't on the map and you like them added then send me a Flickr mail with the details and I'll add it.

British Columbia is a very magical place where nature manifests its power and beauty in its best form. You just have to keep your eyes open and beautiful compositions will come themselves. This little island in Neilson Wetland is taking bath in wonderful lake surrounded by high mountains. Reflection you see is reflection of surrounding mountains.

I took this with my cellphone because I had a 500mm Prime lens on my Nikon and it wouldn't work. I asked this fisherman for permission to photograph him, he was extremely nice and cooperative. I told him he was a perfect model with all that equipment hanging off him for a trout fisherman and those sunrays and fog would be a big bonus. Not the resolution of a DSLR but I LIKE IT. I hope to see him again and give him a copy of this image. I've seen him many times before in this spot. It is worth enlarging just to see his vest of goodies, fishing net on his back, scissors near the fish and more. He was prepared and got there early ahead of the crowd.
I took this on June 29. I had a print made and gave it to him today 10/3. I had been carrying it in the car in case we saw him again. He was pleased.
The hurricane about this time last year wiped out part of this bridge when a huge old tree fell across it; it has been repaired. This island wildlife refuge is now full of piled up downed humongous old trees that fell during the hurricane. The ground was saturated before the hurricane even came and the wind took down many of the older trees.

It wouldn't do the lake any justice if I didn't take a pano with my phone at this spot. Other than, Crater Lake in Oregon, this lake has the most deep blue color I have ever seen. Its color gradually changes to torqoise closer to the shores. As soon as we hiked down to the shore, my wife said to me, "There is no better place on Earth!" She has now developed a deep affection of this lake. We shall go back before this Summer is over.
