I wasn't sure if there was a collective noun for umbrellas so was delighted when Madame Google gave me 'phalanx' to my query. This was seen during a walkabout in Nice. Obviously I absolutely love the riot of colour.

Die Google Zentrale in Irland wurde vom Architektenstudio Camenzind Evolution in Zusammenarbeit mit der Firma Henry Lyons Architekten entworfen und verwirklicht.

Das Ziel des Projektes war, ein inspirierendes und interaktives Ambiente für die Angestellten zu kreieren.

Die Architekten versuchten, einen multifunktionellen Raum zu gestalten.

5 Restaurants, 42 kleine Küchen, Erholungsbereiche, Fitness, Pool, Wellness Bereich, über 400 formale und informale Konferenzräume, ein Forschungszentrum sind nur die Highlights im Interieur.

Alle Bereiche wurden laut der Google Philosophie für interaktive und kommunikative Arbeitsatmosphäre konzipiert.

Die Gebäude sind durch eine Brücke miteinander verbunden, die wie ein gläsernes Dreieck mit abgerundeten Ecken aussieht.

Das Bild im Kommentarfeld habe ich nach dem Entzerren lediglich mit einigen Ausbesserungen versehen.

Bei diesem hier mergte ich drei Fotos... es ist immer noch ein weites Übungsfeld, aber so langsam wird es besser ;-)

New Growth Sprouting on this Thorn Bush.

The crew from a Soo Line freight arriving in Marquette, Michigan, quickly puts GP38-2 No. 4411 (and Sister 4401) to bed in the roundhouse on October 25, 1986. Looking at Google Maps today, and it is almost impossible to tell where this roundhouse was. A more recent 2014 article about Marquette redevelopment plans states a new large hospital was being built directly on top of the site.

Hi all,

Here's a cheesy little card I made in Google Drawings. It's not great, but Flickr's horrendous thumbnail resolution frankly doesn't do it enough justice!!

I hope everyone has been having good holidays. 2022 was my first full year on Flickr, and you all have been amazingly supportive.

I haven't posted lately because I've been utterly busy, but I hope to make/post more builds in 2023. I also intend to do more real life renditions of things I've made.

Thank you so much for the kindheartedness this year.
