The church was founded by Bishop Herbert de Losinga of Norwich in 1101.
The nave is 18th century Perpendicular, built after the tower collapse of 1741, although the crossing and chancel are 13th century.
Other highlights of the interior are the misericords and two large and elaborate brasses.
Originally consecrated as the Priory and Parish Church of St Margaret of Antioch, St Mary Magdalene and All the Virgin Saints, it was redesignated as King's Lynn Minster in 2011 by the Bishop of Norwich.
