Here was Nancy's challenge for me

"I noticed that you hadn't done work with textures. Now I'm not talking about those sweet romantic textures that people use taken from others. I'm saying to photograph stuff like concrete or grass or peeling paint or trees or whatever (don't want to limit your imagination) and layer it with something else, such that it's not obvious, and the head goes, "What the heck is that?"

Unfortunately I ran late with this challenge But no excuses,

I've never really played with textures before and I think that I went ver tame with this, It has however opened up a new possibility that I will defeniately try again sometime,

Thankyou so much Nancy , And I'm so glad that your shot was explored you totally deserved it,

Check Nancy's shot out here if you havent already,

I was born and raised in Hoquiam. I've been involved with the 7th Street Theater, Hoquiam Young Mothers, Hoquiam School Board, Relay for Life, MyTown Coalition and other groups that support and love Hoquiam. I joined this project to be a part of Hoquiam history and to tell a small part of my story. Hoquiam truly is the friendliest city! Go Grizzlies! .

While some may stake out places on the roof terrace in order to study, it seems like everyone lays claim to a specific chair in the London House library. Some have been known to leave their study materials in one place for days at a time without returning to them...

There is one item which all female members of the college seem to deem essential to getting ready in the morning (or any other time)...a full length mirror.

Us at Goodenough College are doing a fundraiser for Nepal - feel free to contact here/PM me for A3 prints at £20 each.

Hope you get to know Nepal in the same way I did - by celebrating the strength of the people and the beauty of the nation.

I was determined to get a picture of the back of this guy's T-Shirt as we both walked toward the fried dough stand at the ballgame yesterday.

Not very sharp, but have you ever tried to take a picture while walking along a crowded concourse?
