Dr. John Goodenough's laboratory recognized the potential of a perskovite ceramic to serve as an effective electrode in fuel cells powered by natural gas.
The laboratory used a screen printing technique to spread the liquid-ink version (green) of the double-perskovite ceramic onto the electrolyte surface.

Located at 3441 Home Avenue, this Queen Anne house was erected ca. 1900. The property's design is attributed to George Franklin Barber. Barber designed thousands of balloon-frame Victorian houses similar to this during the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
Berwyn is located in western Cook County to the west of downtown Chicago along historic Route 66.

Coronation Naval Review, Spithead 24 June 1911 from HMS Cochrane [Captain William Goodenough], Warrior Class armoured cruiser, 13,770 tons, launched 1905, served in the second cruiser squadron at Jutland, 1916 although was not called upon to fire, wrecked in River Mersey 1918 while under the control of a pilot and broken up in situ.
