THE STORY BEHIND “HIT THE ROAD JACK”
Hith the road Jack is an R&B, soul song published and recorded on "October 3, 1961" performed by Ray Charles and his lead singer at the time Margie Hendricks. The person who wrote this song was Percy Mayfield.
The version recorded by pianist Ray Charles reached number one in sales the same year as its release. Rolling Stone magazine placed the song at number 377 on its list of the 500 best songs of all time. In 1971, Ray Charles received the Grammy for Best R&B Recording for “Hit the Road Jack.”
The video clip shows a dialogue between Ray Charles and the female choir The Raelettes, who usually participated in his performances. Making a reference to an argument over not loving him anymore since he had no money, of course... according to the song.
According to the Ray Charles movie known as “Ray” there is a part where they try to show that the song “Hit the road Jack” was born with an argument between Ray and Margie since they had an affair, of course his disability of being blind does not It was a limit to knowing how to conquer girls.
Despite being married to Della Beatrice Howard Robinson, Ray and Margie eventually had a son named Charles Wayne who was born on October 1, 1959 in New York City.
Margie would become the leader of The Raelettes, but her romantic relationship with Ray was coming to an end. She developed addiction problems to drugs, alcohol and heroin, which led her to get into fights during recording sessions. A final argument with Ray ended it all.

I'm not a Beta-tester (hopefully). So far, I've seen few screenshots of what Flickr may look like in the future and honestly, it's not that I don't like the new layout but it needs some deep adjustments (for the very few I've seen).
A beta version is meant to have issues, but for what I've heard and read, we don't talk here about little tiny problems which need to be solve but don't prevent people from using correctly their Flickr account.
This should be a minimum.
So, hoping for a better management of the Flickr to come, for the Beta-testers who are struggling with their account now, I add my little stone to the edifice...

What we are protesting is this newly proposed beta page layout -
which would soon take effect. I think I got enough from this current
flickr page. I don't mind the black background , it's ok with me but whenever
I download a page , it takes much longer which is a pain .The overall
appearance of a flickr page at the moment with all the pictures isn't
that nice, I have to put up with it. If you've seen or tried the Beta page
it's adding more agony into the injury . The comment section which
is layed out on the right hand side of the photo is too cramped up , has a
a small space for description and the comment section can only display
a limited few. This beta page is a stretch towards the breaking threshold
anyone can bear up with.
I just love the old way flickr
used to be for years. This may not be reflective of everyone's
preference . I am not against change ok, but if only flickr
could give us few options how we present our pages.
Those who wish to join in the protest should not upload any image on the
8th of December except an all in black dominated image , either of your creation
or you can copy the image floating around flickr also with more info and links from :

... and post it on your page .
Also you can sign in the petition advocated by Toby Tenma ,
hoping to get at least 10,000 signatures calling for the old
flickr page back or at the least if flickr can give us back

of solidarity and would like to call out flickr's attention you

Already winner in 2013 of the most prestigious Italian Award for intellectual music which is the "Targa Tenco" with his album entitled "Ecco", and the same in 2016 for the best album "Una somma di piccole cose".
There is another new important recognition for this artist, class 1968, University degree in Romance Philology who approached the study of music since the age of 3 thanks to his grandmother who was a pianist.
From the Album "Tradizione e Tradimento" (Tradition & betray") released the last Fall 2019, his song "Io sono l'altro" (I am the other one) has been selected by the Association VxL Voci per la LibertàVoices for Freedom among many other famous musicians and recently pubblically prized in the Big Artists Session of the contest "A song for Amnesty" 2020 with this important award which bears Music & Human Rights, due to the meaning of the lyrics.
Lyrics are very meaningful as it was the whole presence of this well known Italian musician who played in acoustics & performed singing as solo guitarist offering to the public not only the winning song but also many others, almost half a concert although he was requested to just perform the one object of the Prize.
From the song: The other is someone "either" than myself who, at the very end, could be just me seen by someone else or from another perspective...In other words: I am the other one, who thinks differently from you. But what you see is just my clothes. Then let's wear them, go around and you will see how if feels…
The music video will be premiering tonight 8pm Italian time (GMT +2) and, if it will give the 10% of the emotions the audience felt live, than it will be a huge moving experience! Youtube just attributed to this event the Spanish translated subtitles, this will make the experience more interesting for those who are of Spanish mothertongue. I turned various videos of him & I am glad I did becos he is much better live than in studio recordings. So, all the videos I cherish as very precious & wll have to work them out accurately to give justice to his extraordinary participation at the kermesse.
Fantastic person, very polite & friendly. He's been living in the same hotel where I was... He is super gentle even with the last waiters. What can I say more? I had breakfast with him, he strangerly drinks hot milk with a lil spoon of coffee... Due to the complexity of his coy personality & huge sensitiveness, as well as some very sad sorrows that life inflicted him, as having lost his lil child daugther who passed away of meningitis, I felt too timid to ask to extra photograph him out of the scenes but, I enjoyed the moment of some short talks.
On the stage his hammoning is a desperate howling, he smiles but can't hide that & many fans as well as occasional spectators perceived it as many broke into tears for the duration of all his concert. I saw this phenomenon very rarely at concerts in my life...
There is a song he performed entitled "A prescindere da me" ( about asserting, nothwistanding all such pains & sorrows inflicted by life, it's not yet the end) that touched something so deeply in me that, even the day of check out, he was there friendly available but I still felt speachless & uncapacitated to interview him...) From the dinstance I greeted him heart in hands, he replied with his own and an Arabian lady sitting in the breakfast room close by him meant this gesture for her, so she replied to me the same way. A little example how greeting & smiling at even ppl you don't know, makes the day & contribute to a good morning beginning :-)
Anyway, great songs, lyrics, voice & majestic quality music from this musician, above my expectations as I had never listened to him live.
Same as with all the other big guest stars, all located in my same hotel. All have good taste in fact ;)
