Mes premières photos avec un Panasonic Lumix
Partie pour l'aventure, j'ai eu l'énorme chance de prolonger mon voyage hors des sentiers battus et ma route m'a conduite à Rio Lagartos, un adorable ville de pêcheurs peu connue des touristes dans le nord de la péninsule du Yucatan. J'ai découvert une immense réserve naturelle, cette biosphère est protégée par l'UNESCO (Ria Lagartos) entre les eaux du Golf du Mexique et la Mer des Caraibes. C'est avec un pêcheur et habitant local que j'ai pu parcourir ces étendues de paysages magnifiques, pendant huit heures sous la chaleur. Observer les oiseaux, plus de 250 espèces sauvages (flamants roses, pélicans, frégates, rapaces, hérons, aigrettes...) mais aussi les crocodiles dans la Mangroves, les plages désertiques et merveilleuses aux eaux turquoises et transparentes, le lac rose las Coloradas, les grandes aires de nidifications des Flamants roses et autres espèces d'oiseaux... Et pour me protéger de la chaleur ambiante, me badigeonner de boue des Incas comme disent les autochtones, fut d'un grand secours contre le soleil brulant, un bon moyen de se protéger du soleil et gommage assuré pour une peau bien douce. Un lieu incontournable quand on aime la nature et les oiseaux. Les habitants sont adorables, sur place des hôtels en petit nombre nous garantissent de la tranquillité ambiante et de la simplicité des lieux. J'ai adoré vivre ces moments avec les oiseaux, j'ai apprécié l'énorme gentillesse et disponibilité de mon guide Ricky qui tient avec sa famille un petit hôtel (hôtel Mercy) devant le port. Un merveilleux voyage qui m'a rempli les yeux et l'âme, j'en suis revenue grandie

Set off for adventure, I had the enormous chance to extend my trip off the beaten track and my road took me to Rio Lagartos, an adorable fishing town little known to tourists in the north of the Yucatan peninsula. . I discovered a huge UNESCO Biosphere Nature Reserve (Ria Lagartas) between the waters of the Gulf of Mexico and the Caribbean Sea. It was with a fisherman and local inhabitant that I was able to explore these expanses of magnificent landscapes, for eight hours in the heat. Observe the birds, more than 250 wild species (flamingos, pelicans, frigates, raptors, egrets ...) but also the crocodiles in the Mangroves, the desert and wonderful beaches with turquoise and transparent waters, the pink lake las Coloradas, the large nesting areas for flamingos and other species of birds ... And to protect me from the ambient heat, brushing myself with Inca mud as the locals say, was a great help against the scorching sun, a good way to protect yourself from the sun and exfoliation guaranteed for a very soft skin. An essential place when you love nature and birds. The inhabitants are adorable, on the spot of the hotels in small number guarantee us ambient tranquility and the simplicity of the places. I loved living these moments with the birds, I appreciated the enormous kindness and availability of my guide Ricky who runs a small hotel (hotel Mercy) with his family in front of the port. Partí hacia la aventura, tuve la enorme oportunidad de extender mi viaje fuera de los caminos trillados y mi camino me llevó a Río Lagartos, un adorable pueblo de pescadores poco conocido por los turistas en el norte de la península de Yucatán. Descubrí una enorme Reserva Natural de la Biosfera de la UNESCO (Ría Lagartas) entre las aguas del Golfo de México y el Mar Caribe. Fue con un pescador y habitante local que pude explorar estas extensiones de paisajes magníficos, durante ocho horas en el calor. Observa las aves, más de 250 especies silvestres (flamencos, pelícanos, fragatas, rapaces, garcetas ...) pero también los cocodrilos en los manglares, el desierto y maravillosas playas de aguas turquesas y transparentes, el lago rosa las Coloradas, el gran áreas de anidación de flamencos y otras especies de aves ... Y para protegerme del calor ambiental, cepillarme con barro Inca como dicen los lugareños, fue una gran ayuda contra el sol abrasador, una buena manera de protegerse del sol y exfoliación garantizada para una piel muy suave. Un lugar imprescindible cuando amas la naturaleza y las aves. Los habitantes son adorables, en el terreno de los hoteles en pequeño número nos garantizan la tranquilidad del ambiente y la sencillez de los lugares. Me encantó vivir estos momentos con las aves, aprecié la enorme amabilidad y disponibilidad de mi guía Ricky que regenta un pequeño hotel (hotel Mercy)
con su familia frente al puerto. Un viaje maravilloso que llenó mis ojos y mi alma, volví adulto

La Frégate ne pouvant plonger dans l'eau pour ce nourrir, vient voler la pêche des pélicans et c'est ainsi que j'ai pu les photographier avec mon lumix car elles sont peureuses et volent très haut dans le ciel.

J'ai découvert une immense réserve naturelle, cette biosphère est protégée par l'UNESCO (Ria Lagartos) entre les eaux du Golf du Mexique et la Mer des Caraibes. C'est avec un pêcheur et habitant local que j'ai pu parcourir ces étendues de paysages magnifiques, pendant huit heures sous la chaleur. Observer les oiseaux, plus de 250 espèces sauvages (flamants roses, pélicans, frégates, rapaces, hérons, aigrettes, cormorans...) mais aussi les crocodiles dans la Mangroves, les plages désertiques et merveilleuses aux eaux turquoises et transparentes, le lac rose las Coloradas, les grandes aires de nidifications des Flamants roses et autres espèces d'oiseaux... Et pour me protéger de la chaleur ambiante, me badigeonner de boue des Incas comme disent les autochtones, fut d'un grand secours contre le soleil brulant, un bon moyen de se protéger du soleil et gommage assuré pour une peau bien douce. Un lieu incontournable quand on aime la nature et les oiseaux. Les habitants sont adorables, sur place des hôtels en petit nombre nous garantissent de la tranquillité ambiante et de la simplicité des lieux. J'ai adoré vivre ces moments avec les oiseaux, j'ai apprécié l'énorme gentillesse et disponibilité de mon guide Ricky qui tient avec sa famille un petit hôtel (hôtel Mercy) devant le port. Y para protegerme del calor ambiental, cepillarme con barro Inca como dicen los lugareños, fue una gran ayuda contra el sol abrasador, una buena manera de protegerse del sol y exfoliación garantizada para una piel muy suave. Un lugar imprescindible cuando amas la naturaleza y las aves. Los habitantes son adorables, en el terreno de los hoteles en pequeño número nos garantizan la tranquilidad del ambiente y la sencillez de los lugares. Me encantó vivir estos momentos con las aves, aprecié la enorme amabilidad y disponibilidad de mi guía Ricky que regenta un pequeño hotel (hotel Mercy)
con su familia frente al puerto. Un viaje maravilloso que llenó mis ojos y mi alma, volví adulto

Set off for adventure, I had the enormous chance to extend my trip off the beaten track and my road took me to Rio Lagartos, an adorable fishing town little known to tourists in the north of the Yucatan peninsula. . I discovered a huge UNESCO Biosphere Nature Reserve (Ria Lagartas) between the waters of the Gulf of Mexico and the Caribbean Sea. It was with a fisherman and local inhabitant that I was able to explore these expanses of magnificent landscapes, for eight hours in the heat. Observe the birds, more than 250 wild species (flamingos, pelicans, frigates, raptors, egrets ...) but also the crocodiles in the Mangroves, the desert and wonderful beaches with turquoise and transparent waters, the pink lake las Coloradas, the large nesting areas for flamingos and other species of birds ... And to protect me from the ambient heat, brushing myself with Inca mud as the locals say, was a great help against the scorching sun, a good way to protect yourself from the sun and exfoliation guaranteed for a very soft skin. An essential place when you love nature and birds. The inhabitants are adorable, on the spot of the hotels in small number guarantee us ambient tranquility and the simplicity of the places. I loved living these moments with the birds, I appreciated the enormous kindness and availability of my guide Ricky who runs a small hotel (hotel Mercy) with his family in front of the port. Descubrí una enorme Reserva Natural de la Biosfera de la UNESCO (Ría Lagartas) entre las aguas del Golfo de México y el Mar Caribe. Fue con un pescador y habitante local que pude explorar estas extensiones de paisajes magníficos, durante ocho horas en el calor. Observa las aves, más de 250 especies silvestres (flamencos, pelícanos, fragatas, rapaces, garcetas ...) pero también los cocodrilos en los manglares, el desierto y maravillosas playas de aguas turquesas y transparentes, el lago rosa las Coloradas, el gran áreas de anidación de flamencos y otras especies de aves ... Y para protegerme del calor ambiental, cepillarme con barro Inca como dicen los lugareños, fue una gran ayuda contra el sol abrasador, una buena manera de protegerse del sol y exfoliación garantizada para una piel muy suave. Un lugar imprescindible cuando amas la naturaleza y las aves. Los habitantes son adorables, en el terreno de los hoteles en pequeño número nos garantizan la tranquilidad del ambiente y la sencillez de los lugares. Me encantó vivir estos momentos con las aves, aprecié la enorme amabilidad y disponibilidad de mi guía Ricky que regenta un pequeño hotel (hotel Mercy)

J'ai découvert une immense réserve naturelle, cette biosphère est protégée par l'UNESCO (Ria Lagartos) entre les eaux du Golf du Mexique et la Mer des Caraibes. C'est avec un pêcheur et habitant local que j'ai pu parcourir ces étendues de paysages magnifiques, pendant huit heures sous la chaleur. Observer les oiseaux, plus de 250 espèces sauvages (flamants roses, pélicans, frégates, rapaces, hérons, aigrettes...) mais aussi les crocodiles dans la Mangroves, les plages désertiques et merveilleuses aux eaux turquoises et transparentes, le lac rose las Coloradas, les grandes aires de nidifications des Flamants roses et autres espèces d'oiseaux... Et pour me protéger de la chaleur ambiante, me badigeonner de boue des Incas comme disent les autochtones, fut d'un grand secours contre le soleil brulant, un bon moyen de se protéger du soleil et gommage assuré pour une peau bien douce. It was with a fisherman and local inhabitant that I was able to explore these expanses of magnificent landscapes, for eight hours in the heat. Observe the birds, more than 250 wild species (flamingos, pelicans, frigates, raptors, egrets ...) but also the crocodiles in the Mangroves, the desert and wonderful beaches with turquoise and transparent waters, the pink lake las Coloradas, the large nesting areas for flamingos and other species of birds ... And to protect me from the ambient heat, brushing myself with Inca mud as the locals say, was a great help against the scorching sun, a good way to protect yourself from the sun and exfoliation guaranteed for a very soft skin. An essential place when you love nature and birds. The inhabitants are adorable, on the spot of the hotels in small number guarantee us ambient tranquility and the simplicity of the places. I loved living these moments with the birds, I appreciated the enormous kindness and availability of my guide Ricky who runs a small hotel (hotel Mercy) with his family in front of the port. Descubrí una enorme Reserva Natural de la Biosfera de la UNESCO (Ría Lagartas) entre las aguas del Golfo de México y el Mar Caribe. Fue con un pescador y habitante local que pude explorar estas extensiones de paisajes magníficos, durante ocho horas en el calor. Observa las aves, más de 250 especies silvestres (flamencos, pelícanos, fragatas, rapaces, garcetas ...) pero también los cocodrilos en los manglares, el desierto y maravillosas playas de aguas turquesas y transparentes, el lago rosa las Coloradas, el gran áreas de anidación de flamencos y otras especies de aves ... Y para protegerme del calor ambiental, cepillarme con barro Inca como dicen los lugareños, fue una gran ayuda contra el sol abrasador, una buena manera de protegerse del sol y exfoliación garantizada para una piel muy suave. Un lugar imprescindible cuando amas la naturaleza y las aves. Los habitantes son adorables, en el terreno de los hoteles en pequeño número nos garantizan la tranquilidad del ambiente y la sencillez de los lugares. Me encantó vivir estos momentos con las aves, aprecié la enorme amabilidad y disponibilidad de mi guía Ricky que regenta un pequeño hotel (hotel Mercy)
con su familia frente al puerto. Un viaje maravilloso que llenó mis ojos y mi alma, volví adulto

Mes premières photos avec un Panasonic Lumix
Partie pour l'aventure, j'ai eu l'énorme chance de prolonger mon voyage hors des sentiers battus et ma route m'a conduite à Rio Lagartos, un adorable ville de pêcheurs peu connue des touristes dans le nord de la péninsule du Yucatan. J'ai découvert une immense réserve naturelle, cette biosphère est protégée par l'UNESCO (Ria Lagartos) entre les eaux du Golf du Mexique et la Mer des Caraibes. C'est avec un pêcheur et habitant local que j'ai pu parcourir ces étendues de paysages magnifiques, pendant huit heures sous la chaleur. Observer les oiseaux, plus de 250 espèces sauvages (flamants roses, pélicans, frégates, rapaces, hérons, aigrettes...) mais aussi les crocodiles dans la Mangroves, les plages désertiques et merveilleuses aux eaux turquoises et transparentes, le lac rose las Coloradas, les grandes aires de nidifications des Flamants roses et autres espèces d'oiseaux... Et pour me protéger de la chaleur ambiante, me badigeonner de boue des Incas comme disent les autochtones, fut d'un grand secours contre le soleil brulant, un bon moyen de se protéger du soleil et gommage assuré pour une peau bien douce. Un lieu incontournable quand on aime la nature et les oiseaux. Les habitants sont adorables, sur place des hôtels en petit nombre nous garantissent de la tranquillité ambiante et de la simplicité des lieux. J'ai adoré vivre ces moments avec les oiseaux, j'ai apprécié l'énorme gentillesse et disponibilité de mon guide Ricky qui tient avec sa famille un petit hôtel (hôtel Mercy) devant le port. Un merveilleux voyage qui m'a rempli les yeux et l'âme, j'en suis revenue grandie

Saturday 22 February 2014: Marrakech (مراكش)
Despite the relatively late night on Friday, I was awake early which allowed for a very leisurely breakfast with several forays over to the various sections of the Hotel Les Trois Palmiers’s breakfast buffet offering.
As arranged, a little after 10am Mohammed took Liz and I to a local hammam (although strictly speaking I think I’d call the Centre de Beauté Saint Tropez a Beauty Parlour) where we indulged in an hour or so's worth of Hammam - Gommage - Massage, emerging clean, relaxed and a few layers of skin lighter - well worth the 280DH.
At 1.30pm, most of us headed off on the optional afternoon guided tour of the old city, starting with a taxi ride (Tara, Rob and I in one, everyone else - including well-padded Marrakeshi guide Mohammed - sardine-like in another!) to the Palais Bahia. I could have spent a lot longer wandering around the beautifully restored rooms and the quiet courtyard garden.
We followed Mohammed from the street and into the alleyways of the souk to the Musée Dar Si Saïd, which doubles up as the Museum of Moroccan Arts - more beautifully restored rooms housing some lovely arts and crafts (quelle surprise, I liked the embroidery, and the English description of the “Zellige of Wall”, in particular what it takes to get the yellow enamel).
The tour of the souk featured a visit to a cooperative shop, just round the corner from a bakery where traditional loaves were being kneaded and baked in cavernous ovens - at 1DH a piece, hot off the paddles, the loaves were a big hit after the shopping extravaganza.
The food theme continued as Mohammed led us through the carpet souk to the open air slave souk, picking up Marrakeshi macaroons and freshly made savoury pancakes en route, before finishing up amidst the freshly squeezed fruit juice and fruit & nut stalls of the Djemaa el-Fna (ساحة جامع الفناء). Mohammed bade us farewell as the sun slowly sank behind the minaret of the Kouboubia Mosque (جامع الكتبية) .... where, prompted by a couple of local time lapse photographers, pillar jumping ensued.
After photos in the mosque gardens, we made our way to the Hotel Islane’s rooftop terrace restaurant for our final group meal. A smashing starlit location with a beautiful view out over the mosque and the sunset skyline back towards the High Atlas mountains.
Armed up with ice cream / sorbet cones we walked back up Avenue Mohammed V to Guéliz and bed.

Aujourd'hui, je vous propose de réaliser un gommage simple et naturel .... il vous reviendra moins cher que ceux proposés par la grande distribution et les parfumeries et sera moins toxique pour votre peau.
Pour le réaliser il vous faudra :
- une petite coupelle, une cuillère à café et une spatule.
- de la poudre de rose musquée, une crème neutre ( votre crème de jour peut faire l'affaire) et une huile végétale.
La poudre de rose musquée est un agent exfoliant doux et efficace, idéal pour préparer des gommages aussi bien pour le visage que pour le corps. Elle nettoie votre peau en profondeur et facilite l'élimination des cellules mortes, rendant votre teint plus lumineux.
J'ai utilisé de l'huile de macadamia mais vous pouvez aussi mettre de l'HV d'amande douce ou même d'olive ...
Si j'ai choisi l'huile de macadamia c'est que bien que très proche de l'huile d'amande douce de par ses propriétés, elle présente l'avantage d'être très bien absorbée par la peau et d'offrir un toucher plus sec. De plus très riche en acide oléique et en acide palmitoléique, protecteurs des cellules, cette huile douce est également nourrissante, assouplissante et apaisante.
Pour la mise en œuvre c'est très simple ... mettre une petite cuillère à café de chaque ingrédients dans la coupelle, mélanger et utiliser et rincer :-))

Despite the relatively late night on Friday, I was awake early which allowed for a very leisurely breakfast with several forays over to the various sections of the Hotel Les Trois Palmiers’s breakfast buffet offering.
As arranged, a little after 10am Mohammed took Liz and I to a local hammam (although strictly speaking I think I’d call the Centre de Beauté Saint Tropez a Beauty Parlour) where we indulged in an hour or so's worth of Hammam - Gommage - Massage, emerging clean, relaxed and a few layers of skin lighter - well worth the 280DH.
At 1.30pm, most of us headed off on the optional afternoon guided tour of the old city, starting with a taxi ride (Tara, Rob and I in one, everyone else - including well-padded Marrakeshi guide Mohammed - sardine-like in another!) to the http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bahia_Palace><Palais Bahia. I could have spent a lot longer wandering around the beautifully restored rooms and the quiet courtyard garden.
We followed Mohammed from the street and into the alleyways of the souk to the Musée Dar Si Saïd, which doubles up as the Museum of Moroccan Arts - more beautifully restored rooms housing some lovely arts and crafts (quelle surprise, I liked the embroidery… and the English description of the “Zellige of Wall”, in particular what it takes to get the yellow enamel …).
The tour of the souk featured a visit to a cooperative shop, just round the corner from a bakery where traditional loaves were being kneaded and baked in cavernous ovens - at 1DH a piece, hot off the paddles, the loaves were a big hit after the shopping extravaganza! The food theme continued as Mohammed led us through the carpet souk to the open air slave souk, picking up Marrakeshi macaroons and freshly made savoury pancakes en route, before finishing up amidst the freshly squeeze juice and fruit&nut stalls of the Djemaa el-Fna (ساحة جامع الفناء). Mohammed bade us farewell as the sun slowly sank behind the minaret of the Kouboubia Mosque (جامع الكتبية) .... where, prompted by a couple of local time lapse photographers, pillar jumping ensued.
After photos in the mosque gardens, we made our way to the Hotel Islane’s rooftop terrace restaurant for our final group meal. A smashing starlit location with a beautiful view out over the mosque and the sunset skyline back towards the High Atlas mountains.
Armed up with ice cream / sorbet cones we walked back up Avenue Mohammed V to Guéliz and bed.
