When you hear about golf, the first thing that comes into your mind is a ridiculously wide green field with ups and downs along with some semi-large lakes here and there. That, too, under the nice warm sun in bright daylight.
Well, you might consider reconsidering your thought. What if I say, playing golf in a vast snow-covered field, in ice-cold weather is also a valid way to get the game going, there is nothing to raise your eyebrows.

1.Firstly, the balls travel one yard too less by a drop of 10 degrees of temperature. The denser cold air creates an additional pull on the golf balls. As a result of this, you are losing yards of distance to degrees of falls. Also, how stiff your body becomes in the cold air and how it reacts affects the distance you can reach. Pro tip: Keep things warm with the recommendations we mentioned below.
2.There are doers and sayers of “warming up the golf ball” idea. But here is science to the backup: you can’t ball a golf ball warm enough that won’t instantly adapt itself with the outside temperature once it comes in contact with cold air.

During a press conference today at the home of the AT&T National this week, Tiger Woods fielded a few questions in regard to his knee, his future playing on the PGA TOUR in 2011, and to talk about his event at Aronimink Golf Club at Newton Square, PA.
Tiger opened with an acknowledgement that his knee and Achilles tendon are still healing, and that he has not hit any golf balls other than putting since withdrawing from The Players Championship. Woods also admitted for the first time that playing in the Players was perhaps the wrong decision, even adding that he would be playing had he not tried The Players, where he hurt himself after making an awkward swing during his first round.
Perhaps even more interesting was how Woods fielded questions pertaining to the performance of Rory McIlroy at this year's US Open, which Tiger watched intently. Woods acknowledged that the performance "was impressive" and "seriously good playing".
Woods was then asked about his reaction to friend Mark O'Meara's comments regarding McIlroy's swing and how much better it was in comparison to a 21-year old Woods in the past.
"I totally agree with what Mark said. In 1997 when I was 21, granted I had some success, but I didn't like my swing. That's why I changed it. [McIlroy's] swing is definitely better than mine was at the same age. At the same age - comparatively - his swing is definitely better. He needs to continue working on it to get better, but Rory's only 22. It is fun to see someone at that age doing what he is doing."

How do we stop coming over the top? And what's the problem with coming over the top and what does that mean?Once we get set up to our target, in a perfect world, our golf club would stay as we swing pretty much on my side of the target line. So if the target line extends from behind the ball to the ball and to the target, I want the golf club staying on my side throughout the entire golf swing. Over the top means, that once you get to the top of the backswing position the golf club, through some body movement of some sort, will take the club outside that target line as you see here and then as it comes back towards you we've got directional issues, we've also got difficulty with the clubface returning to it's ideal impact position. So here's a great little tip if you think you have this problem.
