See that white post in the lower left foreground? As I was setting up my tripod for this bridge shot I noticed a dark object fly past and land on that pole. Thought to myself "has to be an owl", it was 10pm. I figured it was a GHOW, but when I put my flashlight on it, it was a Short-eared Owl. I took a few long exposure shots with it illuminated before it flew off to hunt. Pretty crazy to see a SEOW in the Bay Area in June!
Part of a challenge to shoot local for 7 days in a row when I first moved into SF. It's probably been a year... releasing this shot is long overdue.
A beautiful dusk glow bathes goldie the bridge in last light. The composition wasn't nailed perfectly, as I had a horde of tourists to my left taking go pro shots and making the ideal composition impossible. Nevertheless I can't really complain, as my expectations were low this day, and the light came in pastel with a nice flow created by sea breeze winds.
I couldn't resist trying to grab one final glimpse of the Golden Gate bridge at the end of my last California trip (especially since the sun was shining).

I wouldn't go there if I was you. in fact, I recommend against it.

them that has, never been seen in their human form again.

From a helicopter perspective right over the middle of Golden Gate bridge, just before we looped under it.
