Goa Parat atau Keramat - ua bukanlah rumah aslinya, Landak sebagai binatang pengerat seperti tikus dan kelinci ini umumnya membuat sarang di dalam tanah, memiliki kesanggupan membuat lubang dalam tanah hingga 5 meter dalamnya dan biasanya terdiri dari beberapa lubang, pintu masuk dan keluar dibuatnya terpisah. Di dalam gua Parat, landak-landak ini tidak perlu lagi membuat lubang lagi, mereka memanfaatkan lorong-lorong sempit bentukan asli gua.
Awalnya ada sepasang landak yang mendiami gua Parat di Taman Wisata Alam dan Cagar Alam Pangandaran, diberi nama dan julukan Joni dan Lince. Rupanya di rumah barunya ini kebutuhan terhadap makanan cukup berlimpah, sehingga sepasang landak ini berhasil berkembang biak menjadi sebuah keluarga uang utuh, terakhir terhitung sudah terdapat 8 (delapan) ekor landak yang sehat dan gemuk hasil keturunan Bapak Joni dan Ibu Lince. Goa Sunyaragi merupakan salah satu cagar budaya di Cirebon, kota pesisir utara Jawa Barat ini.
Kawasan ini seluas 15 hektare. Merujuk kepada namanya, dia adalah tempat menyepi dan tetirah. Ada kolam pemandian dan kamar-kamar untuk beristirahat di taman air ini.
Menurut beberapa sumber, goa ini dibangun sejak tahun 1700an.
Namun, apa yang aku lihat sudah jauh berbeda dari bayangan indahnya tempat ini.
Aku hanya menemukan sisa-sisa tempat tetirah yang kurang terawat dan kusam. Bisa jadi karena memang begitu adanya. Bisa juga karena memang belum sepenuhnya dikelola.
