Planning out our next hike into the wild :) Love my Kakadu backpack and old timey compass. And everything is better with a hot cup of coffee.

Road trip through the southwest. Beautiful, long stretch of road on Hwy89 heading toward Page, AZ. Wide open spaces as far as the eye can see.

Got up super early to get sunrise shots of the grand canyon, ended up hiking over 2 miles through the alpine forest, soaking up the rim views. Just as we were heading back to camp a family of mule deer stopped and let us capture this beautiful picture. A once in a lifetime kind of morning:)
