Having spent most of the summer in the sea talking pictures with my gopro camera I thought it was about time to process some of them.
I decided to take a photo with my GoPro to see how it looks, it gets a lot more sky in the shot than my other 2 cameras.
Took some images with my Gopro hero 8 black, Shme the camera gives off too many hot pixels. 127 images processed in startrails app.
Same viewpoint as the previous shot, but panned across the bay as a video, which was then turned into a still panorama with the ICE* tool.
* Image Composite Editor, a free software piece by Microsoft - makes decent panoramas from stills or video and is great fun to play with.

This closeup of GoPro Hero 9 on a string was shot with Sony 90mm f/2.8 macro lens on Sony a7r iii. Light coming in through a window provided the lighting.

Using my GoPro 10, my time lapse represents about 1 hour in ~30 seconds. When viewing or photographing fire skies, many time in peaks twice, once with deep reds during the start of Blue Hour and then again with bright oranges during Golden Hour.
Never give up thinking the fire has ended when there's a chance for a 2nd show!
