... ever since editing this image I regret not using my camera here instead of my (then) five year old camera phone ... newer smartphones are noticeably better, but I make it a point keeping my ecological fingerprint as small as possible ... and this now seven year old phone is still working : ))
I have fond memories of that lovely summer day in Überlingen, Lake Constance (Germany) ... so this is just for fun and maybe I can make you smile a bit ; )) 💚

When night begins to replace day a guardian of the seas stands ready to warn ships of danger. It is not yet time to switch on the lighthouse beam so the crew enjoy a cup of tea and a biscuit although more than likely it'll be a beer to get them through the long night ahead, a game of cards and a quick smoke out of the wind 😉

Thistle is the common name of a group of flowering plants characterised by leaves with sharp prickles on the margins, mostly in the family Asteraceae. Prickles occur all over the plant. They are an adaptation that protects the plant from being eaten by herbivores. Typically, an involucre with a clasping shape of a cup or urn subtends each of a thistle's flowerheads (Wikipedia).

Just for fun! I thought of traffic lights as soon as I saw the theme name. Nothing to do with recycling etc. but that's ok, I do my bit for the environment, I turned green years ago! :))
