John Jung, author of "Sweet and Sour: Life in Chinese Family Restaurants" and professor emeritus of psychology at California State University, speaks at Emory University, Sept. 29. Jung discussed his search for the story of his parents’ immigration to the United States in the 1920s, which led to an exploration of the history of Chinese immigrants across the American South and to the publication of four books.
