War is not about winning and losing it produces violence and fear for everyone concerned. War creates mass destruction, has long-lasting effects on a country's economy. It leaves people countryless, homeless nomads unable to feed, clothe or medicate themselves. Needless to say, it physically hurts and kills hundreds. Today warfare is cowardly in that fighting has changed to the more dangerous use of chemical warfare, the H-bomb, nuclear possibility, and cyber warfare. We have so many refugees in this world already that we do not take care of, adding to this number will only make things worse.
Peace, on the other hand, gives us a chance to live in our world without friction, work together, enables us to take care of our families and loved ones, improve our communication throughout the world and the ability to improve our lifestyles, share freedom, fun, and opportunity together.

The AWACS aircraft, built by Russians, is designed to detect, track and determine the origin of air and surface targets, as well as conduct surveillance, command, control and communications functions for command posts of automatic control systems, and give guidance in hitting air and surface targets. The site of this AWACS aircraft was a treat to the eyes. It looked magnificent with wings spread out against beautiful blue sky with white clouds. People who came for Air Force Day celebration weren't allowed near any aircraft. I had to manipulate my way to the aircraft to click this amazing Ultra Wide Shot!

Il 20 febbraio 1909 Filippo Tommaso Marinetti pubblicava sul prestigioso quotidiano parigino "Le Figaro" il Manifesto del Futurismo, atto di fondazione di un movimento rivoluzionario che avrebbe sovvertito gran parte della cultura e delle poetiche del primo Novecento. Per celebrare il centenario della nascita del Futurismo va avanti per mesi, qui nella Capitale, una serie di eventi, mostre, manifestazioni. Il tutto, sotto un unico nome: FUTUROMA.
On 20 February 1909 Filippo Tommaso Marinetti published in the prestigious Paris daily "Le Figaro" the Manifesto of Futurism, an act of foundation of a revolutionary movement that would upset most of the culture and poetry of the early twentieth century. To celebrate the centenary of the birth of Futurism has been going on for months, here in the Capital, a series of events, exhibitions, events. All this under one name: FUTUROMA.

The TV Tower in Žižkov was built between 1985 and 1992 according to the design of Ing. Arch.Václav Aulický and Dr. Ing. Jiří Kozák. Despite critical reactions of local residents who pointed to the contrast of high-tech architecture and the historic neighborhood of Zizkov, the tower was completed. Today, the tower is recognised as a dominant feature of The Prague panorama.
In the years of 2011-2012 the tower undertook a complete refurbishment of its interior. A team of renowned Czech architects and artists were assigned to design the new space and create an interactive environment. The TV Tower was renamed the TOWER PARK PRAHA.
The television transmitter tower is from a technical point of view very unique – the Tower oscillations are eliminated with special pendulums inside the structure, which consists of 3 cylindrical steel tubes and 9 cabins. In these tubes there are situated three cabins, the first at a height of 66 meters, the next one is the Observation cabin at a height of 93 meters and the highest located is the broadcast technology cabin. The base of the building is located at a depth of 15 meters below the surface. The tubes of the tower reach a height of 134 meters.
Since 2000, the babies have become a characteristic part of the tower, namely ten giant babies climbing the tower up and down. The fiberglass sculptures called Miminka (Babies) were originally placed there only temporarily, but they became so popular that they were permanently installed on the tower.
