The White-eyed Buzzard (Butastur teesa) is a slim brown buzzard with a distinct white iris. Adults have a white throat with a prominent dark stripe, yellow base of the bill, & a rufous tail. The dark tips to wing feathers are clearly visible in flight and there is often a white patch on its nape. The usual habitat is dry, open country or forest, where it mainly feeds on insects, rodents, & small mammals. This species is most often seen soaring alone in thermals or perched still. Groups of two or three may sometimes be seen.

dans les recoins secrets de l’ancienne cave du Domaine de Paviglia

Odeur de poussière, de roche et de vieux papier imprimé. Un lieu qui a vu la splendeur des cuves accueillant les moûts odorants sous les yeux attentifs et experts de l’ami -et grand-père adoptif- François-Noël Mercury. Ici, la lumière traverse les vieux volets et doucement touch tout en transformant les ténèbres en une succession de lumière et d’obscurité qui attire l’œil et l’excite. Dans chaque recoin d’innombrables découvertes, chaque instant revitalise le cœur.

A place that has seen the splendor of the vats hosting the fragrant musts under the watchful and experts eyes of the friend -and adoptive grandfather- François-Noël Mercury. Here, the light passes through the old shutters and gently touches everything while transforming the darkness into a succession of light and obscurity that catches the eye and excites it. In every corner innumerable discoveries, every moment revitalizes the heart.]
