Good morning dear Flickr friends,
when I say "Give me Five" I mostly mean it in the sense of give me five minutes for the editing of a photo. I never have more than 5 minutes for an editing, otherwise it was a shit shot...;) I try to compose and to catch the atmosphere, when I have my camera in my hands, not later.
My Thailand experiences are no elitist holiday experiences. I prefer to stay in simple houses, never eat in tourists restaurants, no European food, no pool, often no room service but a maximum of life quality and communication. No big luggage, only what I can carry in my hands...;) I found it out in the last years. Less is more!

It seems each month give us something of its own. A special quality about that certain time of year. It seems flowers blooming give us a feel or color that can change as the season itself changes. Textures and colors seem to change with time. Thanks for viewing my work. Gratitude and Kindness when given freely can give back ten fold.

So after quite a long hiatus, we ventured into New York City to see the Christmas displays before they get put away for the year. One of the stops was Macy's and this window display seemed appropriate for the New Year. 151 W. 34th St., New York City.

Much to love about the cold and winter. I'm still immersed in it and holding onto the pretty as long as I can. This is the snowbank on my front lawn. As its melts it forms icicles and when the sun hits them I go into a total sparkle high. :-) Yup...I'm hanging onto those small joys to keep me occupied and happy as we 'stay in'. :-)

I have heard that we shall not point the cameral straight towards the sun, but I must say I'm satisfied I did.
When the sun shows itself as a star, well then the future is bright.
