Wonderful day at the Park today to be taking some of the pictures I wanted to take of my daughter. Luckily the weather and location helped.

" Through the mountains and streams we ride,
Our banners trailing on the wind with pride,
We journey together, our hearts are bound,
The horses hooves a heartbeat on the ground.
We ride for our kingdom, we ride for our king,
We ride for our freedom, is the song that we sing,
We fight with our hearts, we fight with our souls,
We fight for the right for our children to grow old.
And should the sun set before home we return,
Legends will tell, so all still will learn,
Of the day that we rode, so the kingdom would rise,
And how forever we ride in the night skies. "

MUTANT YEAR ZERO: ROAD TO EDEN

Since day 1 that I had planned in my head the pictures that I wanted to take of the city. It was not easy as it's quite hot over there during September (around 28 degrees) so it's quite difficult to wander around under that sun. Then finding the right location for the take it's another challenge. There are loads of steps and it's like a maze so finding the right track requires time...but the sun keeps going down so you need to hurry up.

One of the takes that I wanted to take for a while, the bridge that leads to Grand Central station and with some yellow taxis. I've seen this picture in many places and I just wanted to have mine. This was during the storm day so it has a plus. I hope you like it.

Still going through the thousand of images of last month. Hopefully I'll finish soon and produce the end of the year video and start shipping the book with all the images.

Took quite a few photos of this blossom today, on the dog walk. Felt a triptych was a nice way of presenting them.
Once again, Tych-Panel ( github.com/reimund/Tych-Panel ) allowed me to make this easily :)

Nikon Z6, 18mm Extension Tube, Petzval 55 f/1.7 Mk II
Exposure X7, Color Efex Pro 4
Tych-Panel, Photoshop
Using Fujifilm X-T2 focus bracketing (something like 53 shots - 3 not used due to a shadow going over the camera) f8 but with 1.4x converter - f11. Used: focus stack on GitHub by Petteri Aimonen. A free open source program.

The Navier-Stokes equation is a partial differential equation that describes the motion of a viscous fluid that conserves momentum, mass, and energy.

I have been fascinated by acrylic pours for a while. However, I haven't tried doing them because they can be messy. With this simulation of fluid flow that runs in a browser, I can create such images without the mess :).
You can find the web site that creates these beautiful images here:
paveldogreat.github.io/WebGL-Fluid-Simulation/
Your browser needs to support WebGL to generate these images.
The image presented here has been touched up slightly in Photoshop, but this is basically what you get on that web site above.
