The waning sunlight highlights the long hoods of three C40-8s lugging pellet train U791 bound for Two Harbors.
The low setting sun catches a Dash 8 trio and a loaded taconite train destined for Two Harbors on a beautiful Fall evening. This was a shot on my bucket list for quite a while, and the only thing I'd like now is some steam rolling off of the Minntac pellets.

Gilbert's Whistler (Pachycephala inornata) is a songbird which is found over much of the arid and semi-arid zone of inland southern Australia including southern Western Australia, South Australia, northwest Victoria and central west New South Wales. It's voice includes some very loud, melodious songs but individuals can be secretive and are not always easy to locate and photograph.

This is the site of the first snuff mill in the New England colonies.
The Stuart family lived here and operated the snuff mill for eleven years until 1761 when they moved to Newport.
This is one of my favourite images of all times. It was taken twenty years ago, a few months before Hurricane Gilbert devastated Jamaica. I remember it well as the hurricane destroyed this tree.
Norfolk & Western 2-6-6-4 1218 executes a photo runby at Gilbert, Virginia. Gilbert was the customary location for a southbound runby on Alexandria – Charlottesville excursions, and, for chasers, could be counted on to provide time between other locations, as well as for a “bonus” shot in-between.
Former CNW C40-8 No. 2010 originally purchased to haul Powder River Basin coal, was working in captive taconite service in Minnesota’s Iron Range for its third employer when it was seen from Minnesota State Highway 135 overpass heading east for Two Harbors.
Both were tending the nest. Mom flew out to catch some grub while dad guards the nest. He eventually went in. They traded parenting duites.
We stopped for a walk around the lake before heading back to MD. This state park is not far from Cooperstown - HFF!
Some Neighborhoods have a few more Trees than others. This is just after a quick downpour in Gilbert, Arizona.

While driving along the scenic loop of Yosemite Valley, I noticed a small sliver of yellow that caught my eye. I was drawn to a tree due to the natural framing of the shot with two large pine trees on either side. As the trees were close to the road, I had to be creative with my photography. I didn't like how a wide focal length distorted the scene, so I used a telephoto focal length and combined two images to capture the shot.
