Recently, I finally purchased an iPad (mini). My Dad really wanted one, but wanted me to come with him, to ask the right questions in the store. So I did. Since I had had my eye on an iPad mini since last December, I decided I would get one as well.
All was well, and we have been really happy using them. But 2 days ago I suddenly got a call from my credit card company saying that they were suspecting fraudulent use. The day after buying a small app last weekend, my card had been used for another tiny purchase which they thought was suspicious. And indeed it wasn't me...
So, to be sure, from now on I'm only gonna buy apps and eBooks using these iTunes gift cards.
Jolly is happy about the increased security...

HCBC - Day 9 -- Gift Cards
I had a Christmas sentiment set. So, I arranged the clear stamps on top of the front flap and picked the entire "stamp" up with my acrylic block and embossed the watercolor paper with Clear embossing powder.
Distressed over it with Blue and Green and sprayed some glitter mist over it. Mounted the buttons and string with medium sized glue dots to close up the flap.
I simply cannot fathom:
1. Why I cannot use an Apple gift card for iTunes.
2. Why I cannot use an Apple gift card to purchase an iTunes gift card, so I can actually make use of the free gift given to me.
3. Does or doesn't Apple own iTunes store? If so, what's the deal?
The Triad went to town for breakfast at Starbucks...we used the giftcards we got for winning the costume contest at Four Seasons. Their coffee still tastes burnt to me.

“Forever Marilyn” a 26 foot tall, 34,300 pound sculpture. Marilyn Monroe’s connection to Palm Springs spans three decades. She was a regular visitor from the late 1940s through the early 1960s. In 1949, at age 22, she was “discovered” at Charlie Farrell’s Racquet Club by William Morris talent agent Johnny Hyde. It was at the Racquet Club where some of the best know pictures of Marilyn were taken by Bruno Bernard, aka Bernard of Hollywood, poolside in the desert sun. Many believe she often visited Joe DiMaggio’s estate here in the 1950s, and by the early 1960s she owned a small bungalow-style home herself in Las Palmas. She adored the desert.

If you ever MET a teen you know gift cards are the WAY to go with them...specially for graduation. Well this one holds a card perfectly BUT well money would fit as well.
The front image slips off to open and reveal the treasure! I left a little space on the image to stamp with "Congratulations" or "Merci" (for a teacher) or well whatever you want!
