Glue your die cut box shut, keeping your gift a secret... then they can "Let 'er rip!" by tearing along the perforated lines.
Adorn the classic cube box with my version of the perfect paper bow – never crushed, always centered, double loops tilted just so, with no glue needed. The box is also glued shut using the "ribbon" which is perforated for easy tearing.

Whenever I'm in Target, I love looking at all the gift card designs they have; some of them are really cool. So here's my shameless attempt at getting a gift card illustrating gig. Are you listening, Target?
My gift card is for a new store called "Starget." It's a small regional chain based in the Pacific Northwest.
The surly little clam in the lower right is there because there was a big blank spot in that area that needed filled with something. The artist Shag does a similar thing with cats in his paintings.
Drawn in Photoshop on my graphic tablet.

Playing with some gift box ideas for the kids. Had to double up the plates on the surface so it was strong enough to pull apart. 1x1 red bricks hold it together.

Hang the pillow box off a tree branch or attach last minute to that wrapped box - it's easy to do since the handles separate. gift bag for one of my doggie clients that I stuffed with specialty dog biscuits from Muttropolis. Most of my clients get presents for Christmas. Sometimes a toy, sometimes a treat, sometimes both.
Ssshhhh...if you're Duke, you REALLY get a bunch! (Duke is the dog on the cards)
My moo cards are my business cards for pet-sitting.
Cute bag purchased at Party City.

Interesting to see the variety of Heron logos here from "The Greatest Name in Petrol Retailing"—from the rectangular logo on the red stamps, which was closest to the actual pole sign on sites which displayed it, through the 'heron' logo, to the coat of arms bearing Gerald Ronson's 'finis coronat opus'—'the end crowns the work'. As Ronson put it in his autobiography, "What I was saying was that at a Heron filling station, 'the finishing touches are the makings of a work of art'."
Two different HQ addresses for Heron are shown, 19 Marylebone Road and Fibre House, 19 Sun Street, Finsbury Square. I think 19 Marylebone Road, later known as Heron House, was the newer of the two addresses.
The site in Bilston (near Wolverhampton) on the receipt could well be what is now a Shell here

For the Hero Arts 'givingcard' challenge. When Jennifer first posted this week's challenge I knew I wanted to somehow use one of the cute little Starbucks key chain gift cards.
I first stamped my clear tag with white stazon. Then I adhered pieces of red/pink Bo Bunny Double Dot paper the same size as the gift card to both sides of the tag. Cut out the white paper to go all the way around the tag 1 1/2 times and adhered it on one side only. Added the poinsettias, pearls and stamped message to both sides so it can hang either way. Inserted the gift card (with ribbon tied around the keychain hole) behind the white paper on the side that wasn't adhered. I then stamped the background on the kraft notecard , punched out 2 holes to thread the large ribbon through, threaded it through the tag and tied a bow. The bow can then be untied and used to hang the tag ornament on the Christmas tree. The gift card can easily be removed and enjoyed! :)

Last week a customer asked me to make her a bunch of tiny boxes to use as gift card holders. I thought that was a great idea and made some extras to list in my Etsy shop (www.glassmagic.etsy.com)
after a few months of being the laziest guy i know, i went out with the 50 dollar giftcard i got for christmas and decided to buy something that wasnt a movie or groceries, i wanted to get something to stay in shape since working at fast food and lack of exercise thanks to my stupid heart problems has kept me at a very unsatisfactory physical state.
well... as it turned out, weight sets are EXPENSIVE! and two 12 ounders was actually all i could afford, so i got em, shoved em in my backpack and rode 3 miles home.
the cool thing is, practicing kendo techniques and exercises similar to yoga +24 lbs added actually gives a great workout if you know the right way to do it.
Let's just say that these are WAY more effective than the Two-Faced Thompson Push-ups ya know? and i already know i can do heavy lifting, i carry 60lb crates down the stairs at work every day without a problem, i just dont have enough money for a fancy shmancy gym membership, sigh.
