We went to a restaurant (with an outdoor area) on Sunday evening - I can't remember the last time we went out for dinner : ))

Now it all involves a bit of effort and planning (like a negative corona rapid test), but it was definitely worth it ... back to a bit more normality !

Some of you might recognize this mixed drink. It always reminds me of our lovely vacation in Venice over a decade ago, where we saw Venetians enjoy this orange drink after work ... and gave it a try ourselves (without the working bit beforehand, LOL)

Patrick had to have his tonsils out on Tuesday of this week. Well last night he had to be rushed back to the hospital because of complications. Oh and last night was his birthday. So if you could all help me out by sending him Get Well Wishes and Happy Birthday wishes that would be awesome!

Oh they sent him home early this morning and he seemed better. My stepmom is exhausted!

Yesterday i suddenly became very very sick that i almost lost my conscious. thanks to Yasin who came with theepa and his daddy and took me to the hospital and then to his house and served me whole night with great care.

I am a bit ok and came to office though Yasin stopped me many times but i had to reach office to get some training for ISCALA software.

Thanks Yasin for everything you did for me...love you my dear brother...

This is dedicated to my brother Frank who was admitted to the Hospital earlier this week! Please keep him in your thoughts & prayers my friends. This scented Mock Orange in my garden, is one of his favourite trees! Not only are the blossoms lovely, the perfume permeates my whole back garden.

This photo is for my son Steve who I heard from today as he had news to tell me. He has to undergo a serious surgery this Tuesday 31 March, 2020, to correct a degenerative disease in his neck. If it is not done soon he will lose the use of his arms and he depends on those for his work! He is self employed.

I pray for him and hope all will go well as scheduled and that March will go out like a Lamb with good news for him and our family. He lives not far from the Las Vegas area and sadly due to our restrictions with the Coronavirus I cannot fly down to be with him.

I usually don't have people in my Fence Friday shots {unless they are bokehfied}! But I think •Sara P• rocked this fence! She looks so beautiful with the backlight on her hair & face. I took several shots of this fence in Big Sur {the light was magnificent}, and the shots with her in the frame were the best!! Isn't she beautiful?

I posted this for her today. She really banged up her knee and can't get out to shoot *gasp*. I thought she might like a memory of a perfect day to see her through her convalescence!! Get well soon my friend!!

I arrived in Las Vegas today to help take care of my sister recovering from a liver resection due to cancer. This is the orchid I sent her while she was in the hospital in Los Angeles. Sometimes when ordering flowers from out of town you never know what the florist will send, but this orchid turned out to be a pleasant surprise.

Sorry I haven't been very active in commenting. It's been a busy week with work and trying to get out of town. I hope to catch up with everyone soon!

DADDY: "Jago! Whatever is wrong? You look sad. Is something the matter?"

JAGO: "Oh Daddy! I am sad. My best friend Benny has a toothache! Mummy Marian gave him an aspirin, but he says it's not working. What should I do to help?"

DADDY: "Well, what do you like when you are not feeling your best, Jago?"

JAGO: *Thinks.* "Well, I love tea. That always makes me feel better."

DADDY: "Excellent idea, Jago. How about I make you some special fragrant Monk Pear tea for you and Benny to share. I'll put it in the Blue Willow Pattern teapot that Father Christmas and the Christmas Bear gave you for Christmas."

JAGO: "Oh thank you Daddy! That would be lovely! I know that will make Benny feel so much better."

DADDY: "And what do you like to take with tea, Jago?"

JAGO: "Oh Daddy!" *Giggles.* "That's obvious! Biscuits of course!"

DADDY: "So how about I give you some of my special, melt-in-the-mouth shortbread biscuits to share with Benny. He doesn't have to chew them, as they will just melt in his mouth."

JAGO: "Oh, that would be marvellous! Benny will love them!"

DADDY: "And what do you like giving best that always helps others, Jago?"

JAGO: "Well, I love giving lots of big little bear hugs and snuffly kisses, Daddy!"

DADDY: "There! You see, Jago? You knew all along how to make Benny feel better from his toothache."

JAGO: "Oh, so I did, Daddy! Oh thank you for pointing that out."

DADDY: "You're welcome, Jago."

JAGO: "Did you hear that, Benny my best friend? I am going to give you some special Monk Pear tea to drink, which is sweet and delicious, and some of Daddy's special melt-in-the-mouth shortbread biscuits which you won't even need to chew! Best of all I am going to give you lots and lots and lots of big little bear hugs and snuffly kisses, and I know that they will really make you feel better! I love you so much, my best friend Benny!"

My bears Paddy, Scout, Bogart and Jago have made very good friends with four bears in Holland called Peter, Oleg, Fuzzy and Benny www.flickr.com/photos/40262251@N03/galleries/721577154558... and their Mummy www.flickr.com/photos/66094586@N06/. Benny www.flickr.com/photos/40262251@N03/galleries/721577200585... is Jago’s best friend and the two are very similar. What Jago said is true! Poor Benny has a toothache and even though Mummy Maran gave him an aspirin, he still feels pretty awful! This beautiful Willow Pattern nursery tea set was made in England by the Shell China Company in the 1920s. It features four cups and saucers (not all the set is being used today) as well as a tea pot, milk jug and sugar bowl. Each piece is gilt edged and decorated with the Willow Pattern in blue, just like the life-size equivalent. It has two sister sets: a 1920s Shell China Company nursery rhyme tea set that I was given as a gift some years ago by a close friend who knows I collect nursery ware and children’s tea sets and a faerie tale set from the 1930s Shell China Company faerie tale tea set that I have built up from various sellers over time.

Jago is a recent addition to my ever-growing family. A gift from a dear friend in England, he is made of English mohair with suede paw pads and glass eyes. He is a gentle bear, kind and patient who carries an air of calm about him. He is already fitting in with everyone else very nicely.

I know she hates this photograph, but I'd like to dedicate this photo to my partner in nature crime and adventure, Ms. Maya. My better half often refers to Maya as "the other woman." Anyway, Maya has gotten through the first leg of the fight of her life successfully with emergency surgery. I don't know what any of us would do without our expert on all things pertaining to moths, caterpillars, tiger beetles and eBird. Here's to you, Maya; you make the days better.
