Terrible work of art to celebrate the Franco-Prussian War, completed in 1883
You may see similar leftovers of vintage shop fronts in the West of Germany (FRG), but there are more in the former GDR. Many cities in the regions of Saxony and Thuringia have well-preserved historical centers.
The Schlossgarten Charlottenburg (Garden of Charlottenburg Palace) was originally created as a French baroque garden and was later modified by the architect of Wörlitz Johann August Eyserbeck, leading him to a rooftop garden, in the style of English gardens . In addition to other buildings, are located here the former Teehaus Belvedere (Tearoom Belvedere) built by Langhans and Mausoleio built by Karl Friedrich Schinkel, with the sarcophagi of Queen Louise and Frederick William III.

Lo Schlossgarten Charlottenburg (Giardino del castello Charlottenburg) venne creato originariamente come giardino francese in stile barocco e più tardi venne modificato dall'architetto di giardini di Wörlitz Johann August Eyserbeck, che lo fece diventare un giardino panoramico, secondo lo stile dei giardini all'inglese. Oltre ad altri edifici, si trovano qui l'ex-Teehaus Belvedere (Sala da tè Belvedere) costruita da Langhans e il Mausoleio realizzato da Karl Friedrich Schinkel, con i sarcofagi della regina Luisa e di Federico Guglielmo III.
