A quaint barn scene on a farm near Roberta, Ga. This barn is in the front of a large farm and unusually close to the highway instead of being back in the property like in most locations. They did a nice job for viewing the barn with plantings of rose bushes along the walls. I painted out the highway and a power pole.

Veronica ‘Georgia Blue’ (or ’Oxford Blue’) is a cultivar of Veronica umbrosa (peduncularis), i.e., creeping speedwell native to Southeastern Europe and Southwestern Asia. The leaves of this semi-evergreen plant turn to be red-brown in winter but fresh green leaves emerge again in spring. At the same time it produces brilliant blue flowers, forming beautiful blue carpets along the border.

Georgian National Dances: General information
The exact date of the origin of Georgian national dances is not known. However, it is supposed that the Georgian dancing folk was mentioned for the first time before our era.
In different parts of the country during many years were appearing unique dancing movements which have passed from generation to generation. And you will note that the dances of mountainous region inhabitants are characterized by sharp and rapid movements while the dance movements of plain inhabitants are smooth. Each Georgian national dance requires special costumes which resemble the clothes of inhabitants of different regions.

My daughter. At age 8 she was the subject of an award winning photo taken by Michael Makor that landed him the award of photographer of the year. She modeled awhile and her photos were published in various magazines. I was picking her up from an acting class at the time this shot was taken. She also won awards in Pageants. About a year later her twin suffered a brain injury from an adult in our yard. He died 4 years later. This derailed her. A double tragedy. the loss of her brother and the injustices surrounding it, and the, hopefully temporary, loss of a talented artist.

They are the branch of Kartvelian (Georgian) people located along both the northern (Pirikita khevsureti, Georgian: პირიქითა ხევსურეთი) and southern (Piraketa khevsureti, Georgian: პირაქეთა ხევსურეთი) slopes of the Great Caucasus Mountains.
