My friend gave me her Conservative leaflet. Up in posh North Bristol there's no mention of gypsies or asylum seekers, like we get sarf of the rivva - but I'm slightly wierded by the 'Look at my sexy daughters! Vote for me!' message

The latest artwork from Saint John's church, which always puts up some very good artworks commenting on current social, political and moral events in a highly visible spot right on Princes Street

Eamon Gilmore with Emmet Stagg and John McGinley on a visit to Maynooth and NUI Maynooth on 10th February 2011

John Paul Phelan is a candidate for centre-right Fine Gael in the Carlow-Kilkenny constituency. I took this shot on the border between the Carlow-Kilkenny and Wexford constituencies and some of the telephone poles actually had posters for candidates in both political areas. Fine Gael posters always feature the candidate against a background of blue skies and fluffy clouds - it must be a subliminal message about a better climate under Fine Gael!
27/2/2011: John Paul Phelan was elected.
