Geek & Sundry and Amy Poehler’s Smart Girls are doing a 24-hour Twitch live stream to raise money for the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA). I helped design and build Brick Battles, a LEGO tabletop tower defense game that will be debuting during the stream. Two teams compete to get their minifigs across the battlefield, but a collapsing bridge, crumbling walls, and flying missiles make things difficult (and exciting).
The stream starts at 7PM PST tonight at www.twitch.tv/geekandsundry, and Brick Battles is scheduled to be live at 2PM Saturday. You can watch and donate anytime, and during the game your donations let you play along by giving powerups to your favorite team. You help a great cause and get to contribute to LEGO destruction!
