here it is. The lamp was delivered yesterday. As you can see it's not just a lamp.
The story goes - my desk lamp I used (mostly for rare garden design projects) gave up after 3 years. the plasticy bit broke :( I am thinking about making a little braces to hold it horizontally and still using it ;-)
So I needed a lamp with very good light. I would be happy with something smaller, but my son wants to make some good quality videos in the future so he found this. slightly more expensive than the one I wanted, but.... And then I said: It will be perfect for the indoor photography projects. And my hobbies as well - including drawing, painting, decoupage, cross stitching. And I will have something for 117 pictures in 2017 group as well ;-) Decision made :) We will have to share it, but no problems with that ;-)

This is my popular culture garden design for a LAND_362 garden design project at Colorado State University. in this design I wanted to create transitions that were seen and felt, with both visual boundaries and elevation change. The style of popular culture was used to create this landscape, with a key element that I like to call ' the black ribbon.' The black ribbon consists of a infinity edge water feature, and a wet belt of polished black granite that swoops through the whole site. As a visitor you are forced to engage the 'black ribbon' atleast twice, and when walking through it your feet are moistend and you leave foot prints that present a visual and interactive connection with the site. In the distance you see a seating area, this responds to the nature of the given site, there is a restauranton the north side of the site.

We approach garden design with the same 3D discipline as other design genres.
Create a living space with the patio or terrace. Bring the garden into the home. Special water and lighting effects. Splendour with colour and form. Scale with trees, shrubs, bushes, other 3D objects. Japanese minimal – gravel, pebbles, reeds, water. Force the ground with decking or sleepers. Introduce art and sculpture into the garden.
