With 11,305 ft Mt.Taylor and Mesa Gigante in the background, Santa Fe B40-8W 507 leads a eight unit consist eastbound with the Q-LANY1-01 at MP 53 between Marmon and Suwanee, NM on the Gallup Subdivision on January 2, 1991.

The first of the new BNSF 700 class Dash-9's, units 705, 706 and 700, roll west on their very first trip west on the BNSF transcon on the Gallup Subdivision in far eastern Arizona with the very last of the legendary super hot "199" trains on July 4, 1997. At midnight the symbol will change from 9-199-03 and the train will arrive in Richmond as the Z-WSPNBY9-03.
