Last day on Route 66, followed as much as we could from Chicago to Gallup, NM, through Illinois, Missouri, a bit of Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas and New-Mexico, except for a little side track to Sante Fe before ABQ.
Then from Gallup we headed NW to San Francisco through some gorgeous US National Parks, and then we followed PCH 1 down to the South to LA and finally arrived at the other end of Route 66, in Santa Monica. But we missed quite a bit of Route 66 in Arizona and California. Hopefully, we'll make that right some other time.
