While driving through a small town in the countryside near Nashville, we always stop to visit David Arms gallery and shop. I always seem to buy something also. Located in Leipers Fork, Tennessee. The light was nice as the sun was setting on this late January afternoon. (Edited in Lightroom, Photoshop and Topaz)
..have a good start into the new week,my dear flickr-friends!

The Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II is one of the world's oldest shopping malls. Housed within a four-story double arcade in central Milan, the Galleria is named after Victor Emmanuel II, the first king of the Kingdom of Italy [Wikipedia].

The Uffizi Gallery Italian: Galleria degli Uffizi, is a prominent art museum located adjacent to the Piazza della Signoria in the Historic Centre of Florence. One of the most important Italian museums and the most visited, it is also one of the largest and best known in the world and holds a collection of priceless works, particularly from the period of the Italian Renaissance.
The Uffizi is one of the first modern museums. The gallery had been open to visitors by request since the sixteenth century, and in 1765 it was officially opened to the public, formally becoming a museum in 1865.

Looking at the first floor of the Matsumoto Castle, Matsumoto City, Nagano, Japan with different eyes. Did some color change and then it looks more like a modern gallery ;-))
Happy Sliders Sunday.
First Friday in San José, California means people roaming from art gallery to art gallery. And a chance for me to get out and capture some photons at night.

With art worthy of any museum in the world, the wall of Buckskin Gulch is admired by Moment’s Notice. As with Paria Canyon into which it flows, Buckskin Gulch is composed of Navajo Sandstone, deposited as massive sand dunes 200 million years ago. Water has carved what is considered the longest slot canyon in the Colorado Plateau (and perhaps anywhere), approximately 12 miles/ 19 km long, as narrow as 4 feet/ 1.2 m wide, with walls as high as 500 feet/ 150 m. Wind, water, and gravity have sculpted the canyon walls into beautiful forms and textures, with desert varnish adding some lovely streaks, illuminated here by sunlight reflected from the adjacent wall.
It was an absolute delight to attend Aphrissa Madeye and Roan Forager's underwater exhibit at The Petit Industrial Gallery Saturday last. Much aquatic magic was afoot and the art itself very, very lovely.

Vally has collected a great collection of pictures for her new sim and new gallery and I am proud to be one of them
Please join us at 12Noon SLT at the grand opening celebration of the new Marfa sim in which the gallery is located.
The party will be held at El Cosmico, so if you are in a dancing mood, stick around for the fun afterwards or simply enjoy the sim sights;))
Jacobean plasterwork in the Long Gallery of Blickling Hall. Dates to 1620s. Long galleries were a common feature in houses of that period and were intended for exercise in bad weather.
Took a road trip up to Gainesville, FL for hiking at Paynes Prairie State Preserve and biking on the Gainesville Hawthorne Trail. Took a lunch break in the quaint little town of Micanopy. 187 yr old city is the oldest inland city in FL and has been famous for its charming antique stores and cafes. It is also the location of the filming of the movie Doc Hollywood.

Happy Window Wednesday!
This "gallery" is a reflection in windows on a hospital facade. Chimneys are reflected from the opposite side. Somehow surreal. Unfortunately, I did not have my wide-angle lens with me and therefore copied two windows into one picture. Otherwise, everything is real.
