Spetses is an affluent island and a municipality in the Islands regional unit, Attica, Greece. It is sometimes included as one of the Saronic Islands

Kardamili (Greek: Καρδαμύλη, variously transliterated as Kardamyle, Cardamyle, Kardhamili, and Kardamyli, and sometimes called "Skardamoula", especially on old maps) is a town by the sea thirty-five kilometers southeast of Kalamata. It is the seat of the municipality of Lefktro in the region of Messenia on the Mani Peninsula.

I tried doing a panorama of Arlington Memorial Amphitheater again this year after hiking in DC. Coming here is like going back in time ;)

The magnificent staircase inside the Achilleion on Corfu, Ionian islands, Greece.

The Achilleion was a palace designed for empress Elisabeth of Austria (also called Sissi) with the mythical hero Achilles as the central theme.

It was Elisabeth's favourite vacation place and she built the palace because she admired Greece and its language and culture.

A Régi erődöt Korfun a XVI. század derekán a velenceiek építették. Kikötőjében (Mandraki) állomásoztak valamikor a velencei harci gályák. A déli várfalakon belül a dór stílusú Agios Georgios-templom áll. Eredetileg angol helyőrségi kápolna volt.
