En descendant sous la plateforme conçue par l’architecte Joseph Bigot lors des travaux de restauration de l’église fin du 17e siècle, on se rend à la crypte de l’abbatiale qui se trouve juste sous le chœur des moines en passant près d’une vitrine contenant une partie du trésor de Sainte-Croix.
Elle date de l’origine de la construction de l’église au 11e siècle. .
Trois nefs et quatre travées voûtées d’arêtes soutenues par des piliers ronds et carrés. Les chapiteaux romans sont sculptés de motifs végétaux, ornementaux, rarement humains.
Deux tombeaux occupent la nef centrale. Le gisant en pierre de Saint Gurloës, saint guérisseur breton connu sous le nom de Urlou et prié pour les rhumatismes. Sur le massif roman est étendu un gisant en tuffeau du 15e siècle.
L’autre tombeau est celui de l’abbé Henri de Lespervez mort en 1453. Il a été transféré du chœur de la chapelle Notre-Dame dans la crypte au 17e siècle

Everyone on Flickr has to try photographing water drops on a CD at least once, this series is just that, my try.
A shot of Mick taken at a family Christmas get together. I pulled out my Df, and he went all lovey dovey near it.. lol.
