I attended ComedySportz in Portland. It is an improv show that is all across the United States. This like everything else around us uses graphic design. The lighting in the room could be a form of graphic design because they make it so that the lights shine on the actors and the audience is dark during the performance, and when they want to choose a volunteer from the audience, they put spotlights on the people from the audience. Another way they used graphic design is in the clothes the actors wear. There are two teams of actors who are competing, and each team wears a different color so that it is easy to tell which members belong to which team. The stage also has a solid blue background which makes it easier to see the actors because it is not distracting.
