The vast majority of Dennis R-series chassis have had Plaxton bodies but a small batch were bodied by Caetano and just two by Berkhof. Both had the Axial bodystyle and were Y6 BAN for Banstead Coaches and ESU 394 for Greys of Ely. The latter took part in the mass exodus to Stratford; I don't know who the hirer was but most of the passengers seemed to be young ladies. Bus Lists on the Web includes a third Berkhof R-series also for Banstead Coaches as Y5 BAN, but this doesn't appear in Busview so it seems to have been ordered but never built.
