The Future, after work and feel free, feel the wind on the skin that moves through the urban canyons
The future of Sydney epitomised by the dystopic Crown Casino Tower, which looks a bit like the Tyrell Corporation Tower in the movie 'Bladerunner' (1982).
But, interestingly, the Crown Casino Tower rises up over Barangaroo, with the nearby nostalgia of Millers Point with houses dating back to the mid 1800s. And across Darling Harbour are the historic suburbs of Pyrmont and Balmain.

I still have loads of photos of a week ago with this guy but he is changing so quickly.
This was taken yesterday.
Last week he was still fairly timid. Staying at the back of his enclosure and only coming down when most of the people had moved on. Yesterday however, he came out of his den and ran straight to the front. I couldn't get over his confidence and that he had this air about him.
Little Amari is coming into his own.

mmm the new version of light room wont let me export any files to my hard drive only to my camera card, weird.
Like most people I lost lots of plants including my fuchsias during our scorching summer and now is the time to replace a few.
The secret is to cut all the flowers off just before a heat wave. Now I know or move to NZ ;)

C-GHLV, a Boeing 767-333ER, on approach to runway 24L at Toronto Pearson International Airport in Mississauga, Ontario. It was arriving as ACA2311 (Air Canada) from Montreal, Quebec on a flight crew training mission.
Serial number 30852 began its career with Air Canada in October 2001. It joined the fleet of Air Canada rouge LP in June 2015 and served until March 2020, when the pandemic forced it into storage.
The 20-year-old was reclaimed by Air Canada in October 2021 and was converted into a freighter for Air Canada Cargo.

This is one of the cubs of mama bear 863 of the greater Yellowstone eco-system. He was full of life and personality. One day, I feel, he will be the king of that wilderness.
Class units of Conrail’s C32-8 and C30-7A classes, joined by another C32-8, have dropped their westbound train on a hump lead, and are now proceeding to the west end of Allentown yard. All three units are now in South America.
The visit to the Museum of the Future is an amazing experience. Its architecture and materials make it an unmissable view in the city of Dubai.
The structure, with seven floors, is covered in steel and glass with the glass pieces, that serve as "windows", forming excerpts of poetry in arabic caligraphy.

I'm not a fan of malls or indoor shopping centers unless the weather feels as windy, snowy, and freezing as now. Then, at least one can walk as that unknown man walks here. (And sneak in a camera.)
But so many stores seem to close as malls turn to entertainment and child play areas to survive.
When it comes to the future, even if it serves to represent the past and the present, the French are merciless ...

... knowing that we know how fossils are created, and how that process is a once in million ... and how fleeting life is, we should be putting items from our time period in sediments so that future intelligence will be able to find millions of years from now evidence of our existence after we are long gone.
Need to go bury things in the right sediments now :)
