Wednesday evening was full of creative energy. While I mended two items, my youngest daughter colored a Tracerkin body that I cut out for her. I helped her glue on some yarn hair. That gave me an idea that I acted upon as soon as the kids were in bed.
I used my Tracerkin stencils to create bodies on cardstock. Then, I spent over an hour cutting out a plethora of clothing from fabric scraps. This morning, I helped the kids glue the "humans" to cardstock and dress them. Then, they used markers to add faces and shoes. They really loved the activity!
Because I spent so much time working on these pieces, I only had a few minutes to actually sew something for my Create 31 Challenge.
