This cake was incredible. Made by Logan Atkinson and took many hours. It represents the silhouette of the Royal Society Mountains across from McMurdo Sound, and the return of the sun after a long winter. It was Devil's Food Cake, soaked in 2 bottles of Maker's Mark, with Italian Butter Cream. Logan is a genius.

Annie, Julie, and I started the evening with dinner at my house before heading over to Liesl's Vino Birthday Party and ended our fun evening enjoying spirits at McMenamins Imbrie Hall.
