CLARION ALLEY in SAN FRANCISCO is known for it's incredible GRAFFITI & MURAL SIZE STREET ART. The works change every so often, usually when some a-0's destroy a piece with dumb tags. It's worth coming down to the Mission/Valencia corridor to experience a long tradition of street art. This alley used to be just political inspired murals. Now the art runs a gambit of fun to political.. (HINT: lots of trendy restaurants on the connecting Valencia Street. Though the alley is not really safe at dusk/night)

A lil' hiya guy...

Don't worry, he's safe in my hands =)

We won!

Our prizes: The honour of displaying the silver cup on our table until we went home; a magnificent leather flagon (empty); a Tesco steam iron; four crocheted coasters; and a £5 book token.

She is not a doll, she is the Doll!

So, Monster Golf is all about family friendliness, but this is the most ridiculous game ever. The screen graphics and sound effects are of some goombas beating on some dude yelling, "where's the effing money!" THEN the strippers twirl around the pole when tony says, "show'em girls"

There's something about a snow day that is almost as much fun now as it was when I was growing up. Maybe it's just the memory of the fun had years ago sledding and playing in the snow that makes these times now that much better. Maybe it is seeing my own daughter and the neighborhood kids making the same memories and knowing the joy that those memories might bring them in the future. Maybe it's just not going to work. Any which way you look at it, snow days are just fun. The snow storm that hit the Southeastern US gave me a chance to wander around the iced over streets near my house and take some photos.

By the way - the berries in this photo look much less saturated in the red channel on my screen than in photoshop. Sort of interesting and frustrating given that I purposefully desaturated them so as to not blow out the red channel.... more things to learn I guess.

Londyn playing with her tea set that the Easter Bunny brought her for Easter. She loves to play with this, it's her new favorite toy! This tea set is is seriously adorable--the tea pot even has an English accent.
