Had a bit of fun lightpainting with Brett and my son Scott on the weekend. This shot was Scott's idea and it worked out really well.
This is the first time that I've tried to shoot bubbles. The thought of getting the cameras wet with bubble fluid kept me away from trying. I have to add that my teenage son volunteered for this task, and we had a lot of fun. Thanks David! I took 176 shots, and they were not that easy to take since I shot in manual. In the end, some of them came out good, so, this is one of them...
My photography is mostly nature. I enjoy macro photography a lot, but it is difficult to decide what I like the most about this art.

The Tree of Life is a 145-foot artificial tree that has served as the icon of Disney's Animal Kingdom at Walt Disney World Resort since the park first opened on April 22, 1998. Inspired by Rafiki's Ancient Tree, the amazing Tree of Life features approximately 325 carvings of existing and extinct animal species carved on its trunk and large surrounding roots. Engineered from a refitted oil platform and based on the natural forms of baobab trees, the Tree of Life is located on Discovery Island, roughly in the center of the park. Its leaves are made out of kynar. - is truly quite amazing and fascinating to see!

Every fall, pumpkin farms in Ontario attract tourists. However, only 10% of the pumpkins end up as food, while the other 90% are used for Halloween decorations. Surprisingly, pumpkins are actually fruits! Fun fact: Did you know that, in the past, people used them as containers to store milk and grains?

It had threatened snow all day until the last 10 minutes of daylight when the sun broke out under the clouds.
Remember when cameras had a 'film-minder' holder ?
Some of my 6x6 cameras do, and some don't.
I remember adding those plastic holders on some of my 35mm SLR's too.
Even some of my DX code reading cameras have a small window to see the roll.
[note to self, inspect that foam...]
I applaud Ilford & Foma keeping their end-flaps interesting. [fujichrome, RIP]
I do not know if Kodak has a 'better" end flap on single 120 rolls, the '800/400/160' are from a 5 pack.
Yes, I shuold have been keeping samples of these from when I started in the 70's....

A few edges, of town, collapse, restoration ? Camera: Nikon Zfc, 50-250 dx kit lens.
I suspect in a couple pf decades, houses will obscure this view. That grey ribbon across the photo is a road that is part of subdivision planning.

California Raisin figure playing Marvin Gaye's 'I Heard It Through The Grapevine' in a puddle on the boardwalk handrail at the park. Just having a little fun. :) Saw the puddle and put the figure there to get its reflection. Obviously nothing going on at the park. lol. Snow mostly melted since almost 50°F (average is 38°F.) but heavy rain forecast all day tomorrow so had to get out for a few minutes.
They made some fun TV commercials for California Raisins in the 1980's. Link to one below. Hope it brings a smile. :)
