Burslem Festival Funfair

At the stand they sell all kinds of candy. I like the sign - "Naschkatze" is a German word and it means somebody who has a sweet tooth. "Katze" means "cat" and "Naschen" means "to eat titbits":-)

The good citizens of Cwmbran are in for a double treat this month; Denzil Danter’s fun fair and the American Circus. Denzil of course, has been displaced from his usual venue, the waste ground on Grange Road since Saunders-Crane inconsiderately built a factory on it.

Amount of fun debatable. Beatrix bumped her head on the roller coaster, had to have her knickers changed behind a portaloo, and spent over £20

There was a Punch and Judy man right next to the very noisy Waltzer. I guess he gave up!

Of course the ride wasn't as scary as the pictures...with the obligatory string in the dark.
