The wonderful old boat shed on Dove Lake at Cradle Mountain in Tasmania. Taken just prior to the roof of the boat shed getting a renovation with brand new shingles. Here it is in its old full weathered glory. It was originally built in 1940.

I'm still struggling with SOOC (Straight Out Of Camera): I can't seem to get the contrast range I'm looking for, that I can get developing the RAF file digitally with Affinity Photo.
Polignano a Mare, one of the most beautiful coastal towns in Central Puglia. This is also where Red Bull's cliff jumping takes place. A small, wonderful old town on the often very turbulent sea.
A Polignano a Mare la natura selvaggia del mare sposa in maniera unica arte, cultura e storia. Polignano ha spiagge fantastiche incastonate in paesaggi mozzafiato.

Ah well, I had to do one, didn't I? I never even think about doing self-portraits until I come near this thing and then it works its magic on me. Mind you, with the 19mm lens in place you get a pretty small picture of me...
One of my favourite trips in New Zealand was up Mt Owen near the Buller Gorge. I hitchhiked from Dunedin to Buller with a guy I had met in Homer Hut, he was on his way to Greymouth. When I got dropped off in Buller I saw a photo of Owen in a visitor information book. It wasn't in my Lonely Planet guide, which made it all the more intruiging. The hike through forest, scramble up the ridge, and vast karst plateau on a sunny day made a big impression on me. There were deep shafts you could drop pebbles into and listen to them fall, it seemed, forever. The limestone was the good, blue, sharp-edged stuff. The keas were circling, along with a NZ armed forces helicopter in the distance out to pick up a caving team. I spent hours up here.
If this looks slightly familiar to you it may be because the exit from the Mines of Moria in Lord of the Rings is located somewhere in the foreground.

The old Red & White Canadian Maple Leaf flag. A well recognized, and very simple flag.
It's nice to see it waving from some porches, homes, and balconies.
