These chairs were perfectly placed to enjoy the wonderful sunset that was starting to develop. I took a photo at roughly the same location last November: www.flickr.com/photos/123895834@N08/22856676063/in/album-...

Black fronted dotterels also known as black fronted plovers, Elseyornis melanops, taken in the Kimberley, Western Australia.
They typically feed in freshwater wetlands.
This pair were not at all afraid of people which made them wonderful photographic subjects.

If never you find what you're looking for
Come on back to the front porch
Say my name through the screen door
Come on back to the front porch
Whatever you've done, it doesn't matter
'Cause darling we're all a little splintered and battered
But the light is on, what you waiting for?
Come on back, come on back to the front porch

I managed to nab a cherished front seat on the DLR. The windscreen wiper arms across the right of the shot were unavoidable. Approaching Tower Gateway Station as another one had just departed and a C2C train on the mainline to the right had just left Fenchurch Street.

on the 'plains' you can see the storm fronts approaching for miles, this one came in fast with some high winds......I put up the 'sparrow hawk' house maybe eight years ago to no avail but the flickers like it....
Also known as the Turquoise-fronted Amazon or Parrot, this species has been considered to be one of the most abundant of its genus. Unfortunately currently it is a nearly threatened species. Very heavily trapped for cagebird trade. This was a free and wild one photographed at Pantanal - Brazil.
Wishing everyone a peaceful week and good luck to the Brazilian soccer team!
Thanks a lot for your visits, comments, faves, invites, etc. Very much appreciated!

This crimson fronted parakeet was pretty far in the distance but I was excited to capture it in its environment.
