Revisited an old friend (circa 1864) after over 20 years of neglect, to help and play with my kid who just started learning. Had to change the stings and the tail piece that were broken but the old fiddle still sounds amazing. Nikon 50mm at 1.2 aperture.
For Mikaela a.k.a. mjmatt, a virtuoso photographer, who has always been a true friend and and inspiration...

(Behind-the-scene: Always wanted to capture something for my dear friend, Mikaela. This morning offered me the best opportunity for it. It was a beautiful early morning, a perfect opener for the day. :)
When I was here before, there was a rock formation that was called Chocolate Penguin. This rock formation was called his friend.
I don't think Chocolate is standing anymore. In this photo in the background you can see some dark rocks on the ground.
I hope someone didn't push him over, but it has happened in other places. I also think the top of Friend is the rock just to the right.
I bumped into Tony and his friend with the Fastline hat at the end of my street photo walk in downtown Louisville. It was above 90ºF. Humid too. I wanted to cool off and have a bite. That's when Tony and his friend approached me. I asked if I could take their photo. They agreed.
Tony wanted to get the photography session over quickly to get a drink. I understood.
Tony is originally from Louisville and his friend is from Nashville. They now reside in downtown Louisville. After our quick session, they went into the quick service restaurant for a cool drink.
The two of them would look away from the camera so I instructed them to look right at the lens. Then they would look up, which made me photograph more of their neck and chin than I wanted. So I crouched down low. They followed with their eyes and looked down into the lens, and that is when I got this shot.
Session over.
Thank you for the photo, Tony and friend.

Some days he drives me crazy, others he's absolutely lovable. The joys of pet ownership.

The 1909 Schoolhouse in Friend, Oregon is used as a Community Center and is in pretty good shape compared to many others built in the same era.
I will let my friend Jean Michel to add the description for this little guy. He is really good on that. Even being a parisien guy, he knows better than me about those animals.

Rockstar looks at his best friend and sees nothing but rage in his eyes.
Ben doesn't even talk but just growls and swings at Rockstar with his razor sharp katana.
Mr. Pink laughs while Rockstar is being attacked by Ben, the friend he has known ever since elementary school...
"Nice job huh?" says Mr. Pink as he explains his masterplan using a satellite to send a signal via the large satellite dish outside to other smaller satellite receivers to influence the citizens in Brickwood City.
The signal taps into a persons darkest desires which makes many turn to criminal, violent or defiant behaviour.
Surprising fact is that some citizens seem completely unaffected like Mara and Rockstar but Ellie, while strongwilled but good natured still joined a criminal girl gang...
"Ben, snap out of it, I'm your friend dammit!"
Rockstar tries to dodge Ben attacking him with his silver katana and knows it's no use. He seems completely under Mr. Pink's influence...
Now that he is so close to saving Danny will Rockstar and Ellie fail at the hands of the devious Mr. Pink?
